Sean aimed the barrel of the gun at Mark's head, his hands shaking as he cocked the weapon.

Amy sobbed harder as Signe led her away, Mark's eyes looking into Sean's as his finger hovered over the trigger.

Sean thought of everyone that had died around him for him to be where he was now, how there was so much blood spilled all so Sean could make a decision that could either help or ruin his chances of survival.

"Please...a-agh, please Sean." Mark whispered, his face paler than normal as he looked Sean in the eyes.

"I..." Sean trailed off as he stared into the eyes of the man that had tried to kill him countless times, his hand lowering the gun before he tossed it back to Ethan.

"Are you sure Sean? He-"

"I know what he's done, I still have the scar as a reminder." Sean interrupted Robin.

"Take him back to your base, I'll go back and see if I have any supplies in the plane that could help." Sean directed Amy as he jogged back towards the wreck.

"No...wh-why are...you d-doing this?" Mark stammered to Sean as Tyler lifted him up bridal style in his arms, causing the Irishman to turn and look back at him.

"I'm not like you, I don't needlessly kill." Sean replied before continuing his jog.

Sean managed to find a roll of bandages, some duct tape, water, and a bottle of painkillers scattered around the wreck before he ran back out to meet the others at Mark's base.

"So, anyone happen to secretly be a surgeon?" PJ asked the group as Mark was laid down onto a mattress in his base.

No one answered as they watched Mark's chest rise and fall, his eyes struggling to remain open so he could look at Amy as she stayed by his side.

"I know basic first aid from having been a lifeguard, but..." Tyler trailed off as he shook his head with an exasperated sigh.

"Okay, who has the steadiest hands and isn't squeamish?" Ethan spoke up, glancing around at the others.

"I guess that'd be me." Tyler admitted as he ran a hand through his short brown hair.

"You happen to know anything about removing a piece of a broken rib out of a lung?" Ethan added.

"No, I'm not doing that, I'd kill him." Tyler argued.

"I'll...I can g-guide you...through it." Mark offered Tyler.

"How do you know anything about surgery?!" Ethan exclaimed.

"I-I went...to c-college for b-biomedical...engineering." Mark stated through gritted teeth as he tried to breathe through the pain.

"I'll go get supplies from first aid." Tyler declared before disappearing from the room.

"Here, take these." Sean directed Mark as he handed him a bottle of water and a couple of painkillers.

"I, I can't." Mark hissed as he tried to reach his arm up to grab it, his hand shaking wildly from the effort it took to keep his arm up.

"Hang on." Sean sighed as he opened the water and dropped the pills into Mark's mouth, pouring water into his mouth to wash the painkillers down.

"I found some surgical supplies from when we raided that hospital last week." Tyler announced as he rushed back to Mark, a bunch of various tools wrapped up in a towel.

"God I can't believe I'm doing this." Tyler grunted as he got down on the floor next to Mark.

"First...y-you need to...cut m-me open." Mark instructed, using a finger to trace where the incision needed to be.

Tyler nodded as he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before he opened his eyes, tore Mark's shirt open, and plunged the scalpel into Mark's chest.

Mark let out a weak cry of pain as his back arched up, blood trailing down his bare chest.

"I'm so sorry, oh god I'm sorry." Tyler apologized, his hands starting to shake as he realized what he had done.

"Ke-keep going." Mark wheezed as his body relaxed once more.

Tyler waited until his hands stopped shaking to move the scalpel down Mark's chest, wincing as Mark's breaths turned to painful rasps.

"You're doing so great babe, just stay awake." Amy encouraged Mark, her hand squeezing his.

"Light." Tyler whispered, holding his hand out.

Ethan retrieved a small flashlight from his pocket and handed it to him, his face paling as he looked at the wound.

"Mark, what do I do next?" Tyler asked the dark haired male.

Mark didn't answer as his grip on Amy's hand loosened, his eyes fluttering shut.

"Mark? MARK!" Amy screamed as she shook Mark's hand, her forehead pressed against the back of his hand as she started sobbing.

"Wake up Mark, I need you!" Tyler shouted as he tossed the scalpel away, panic beginning to take hold of him.

"I-I'm not dead...ev-everything j-just...hurts, I-I need rest." Mark managed to say as he cracked open his eyes to look at Amy.

"Don't do that again babe, we need you to stay awake no matter what." Amy sniffed through her tears.

"He's losing a lot of blood, I have to move fast." Tyler muttered as he picked up a pair of medical pliers and started plucking out pieces of broken bone, tossing them aside onto the floor.

Sean looked away as Mark screamed again, his body thrashing and causing more blood to rush out of him at a faster rate.

"I'm done, I'm done. I just need to stitch you up." Tyler soothed Mark as he took a spool of black thread and a needle from Signe.

Mark fell deathly silent as Tyler stitched his chest back up and wrapped up Mark's chest with the bandages Sean had found, his body still as Tyler worked.

"Mark?" Amy whimpered once Tyler was finished, her gaze sweeping over Mark's body for signs of life.

"I....agh, I'm o-okay." Mark choked out before Amy pressed her lips against his, her hands running through Mark's hair while Mark held onto her.

"Thank you guys so much for saving him." Amy said to Sean's gang as she broke off from the kiss to thank them.

"Hey, we're all just trying to survive." Sean shrugged.

"But, I was hoping we could form a sort of alliance." Sean added hopefully as Mark sat up with the help of Tyler.

Should Mark make an alliance with Sean?

Or

Stay separated, but not attack them anymore?
