Jungkook trembles as he stares at his girlfriend standing in front of him, sweat beginning to form on his temples. Her smile is expectant, as if she already knows how he is going to reply. The question is, does he want to?
Jungkook and Chani have been dating for three years now, yet they haven't uttered those three words until now. They had started dating freshman year, so it is only understandable. Most teenagers in high school relationships confess their "love" by the first or second month of them dating, but they wanted to take it slow.

He had grown up in a household where his father cheated on his mother every night, and then woke up in the morning as if he had done nothing wrong. He had witnessed his mother growing more and more depressed until she just didn't care anymore, his dad not even having to hide the fact that he was seeing other woman anymore. He was convinced that love wasn't real, yet he can't help but feel a strange affection towards Chani as she wraps her arms around his waist.
"I......I-I love you too" he stutters out, watching as her smile widens before it takes up the bottom half of her face. He smiles at how cute she looks, his hand reaching up to move her hair to the side.
I love her......right? he thinks to himself as she snuggles her head into his chest, his arms automatically wrapping around her body to pull her closer. That's what I'm feeling right now, right?
