Chapter 1: Prologue

Jenna's POV

<flashback>

I closed my locker shut and walked towards the exit. When I left the school I say the "chains" also exit. The "chains" are a group of popular guys. All the girls want them and all the guys want to be there best friends. At the end was Caleb.
Caleb: Blonde hair with brown eyes. He was super fit and on the basketball team. Wait no, head of the basketball team.
Next to him was Marcos.
Marcos: Light brown hair with Hazel eyes. Also very fit and on the football team. On the other end was Carl.
Carl: Black hair with blue eyes. He had alright muscles. Less than the other. And he was on the basketball team. Next to Carl was Adrien.
Adrien: also had black hair and green eyes. I loved his eyes and they went well with his hair. He was fit, more than Marcos and Caleb. He was on the football team. And in the middle of all of them, Gabriel.
Gabriel: Brownish-Blackish hair with green and blue eyes. Is eyes were perfect. And so was everything else about him. He was the most buff. He was also the quarterback of the football team. Also the captain. I then rolled my eyes and was about to go on the bus when I felt a gap. I looked over and saw Gabriel, standing right in front of me.

"Hey" He said in a cute husky voice. But why was he here? Wait, he's a perfect guy to get back at Aden for breaking up with me! I can make him jealous!

"Hey?" I said. Even though I had a plan I was confused why he came to me.

"Um," he started but then got distracted by a girl walking by. He winked and smirked at her as she giggled. Ew, those girls are so gross.

"Well?" I asked annoyed and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yah right sorry." "Um, I need your help." He said kind of embarrassed. I was shocked.

"Oh um, same" I said weirded out. We both needed each other help?

"Why do you need mine?" He asked and raised an eyebrow.

"You first." I said and he shook his head.

"I asked you first." He argued and I glared slightly at him.

"Well, you came up to me ." I said and he smirked.

"Fine, I'll go first because I'm a gentleman!" He said and I scowled and blew a piece of my bang away. "8 need you to help me with my grades" he said lowly and I put a hand over my mouth to out from laughing.

"You? Gabriel Carter. Want my help. For your grades?" I said and moved away my hand but bit my lil because I almost had a full on crying session from crying.

"Yah.." he started and I smirked. "I really need my grades up or I won't be able to play in the football games." He finished and I nodded.

"Well, I need you to be my fake boyfriend." I said and he raised both his eyebrows and and chuckled.

"Why?" He finally asked.

"Because I need to get back at Aden. I want to make him jealous and mad." I said and he nodded.

"Then it's finale." He said and I titled my head a bit. "I'll be your fake boyfriend if you help me with my grades." He said and I nodded.

"Perfect."

<end of flashback>

"It's funny." I said out of no where causing Gabe to look up from his phone to me with a confused look.

"Hm?" He gestured to me to go on.

"The good girl with grades and the Bay boy with the 'girls' ends up together." I said smiling at him. "After I did you your 'favor'" I finished causing him to smirk.

"That's so cliche." He smirked causing me to laugh.

"Right!" I said and rested my head on his shoulder. He rested his head on mine.

"Jennie" he said I looked up at him.

"Yes?" I asked with a slight smile.

"You won't ever leave me, right?" He asked with a sad look in his eyes. I smile just a little more.

"I won't ever you leave you, Gabriel" I said and he smiled. Something he didn't do very often. He normally smirked.

"Promise?"

"Promise"
