A Complicated Situation

Start from the beginning

"That aside," he continued. "What I told you was just the history of this world's main conflicts. To get to the more basic facts about us, the people of the world, we weren't born with our names. We have to earn it through the characteristics of our abilities and character."

My mind went blank. I couldn't say a word and to be honest I was even more shocked to see Kimihiro didn't say anything. I glanced at him to see his face looking sullen and I have no idea why. I actually see dark clouds forming!!

"So that's the gist of it,huh? Since you didn't say anything about memories, I'm guessing I'll have to find out myself," I said ignoring him. The king just smiled at me creepy. Damn, what a pain.

"Fine, I'll leave. It makes my search easier," I said heading towards the door. Kimihiro popped up from his seat and looked at me in anger. He grabbed my wrist so hard, there are bound to be bruises later. "Where do you think you're going?" he demanded narrowing his eyes. "I'm going out to find answers," I answered trying to mascarade the anger I've held with a fake smile. They didn't even answer the main question I wanted answered. "No you're not. You're staying in this castle," he commanded me. Just as I was about to punch him through the walls, two people suddenly burst through the door.

"Kamui, sweetie!! I can't believe you're back!!" a woman's voice called sounding like she was rushing to me. "We've missed you!". Before even bothering to look at the woman, I spread my wings and flew to the second floor of the library. I turned around to where the noise was coming from only to see that the woman trap Kimihiro in a tight squeeze. I could already see him suffocating from it as I laughed. The woman wore a purple strapless dress with two light purple frilly layers that starts at the waist to her thighs giving her a seductive look, especially with the same color high heels. Her eyes were the color of amethyst and hair was curly and black with a light blue rose behind her ear. She was fairly beautiful and she seemed very high class. And strong. Still gripping Kimihiro, not knowing I'm on the second floor. Wings put away. Do anyone in this castle ever pay any attention to the mood or even the situation for that matter?

"Ahem... Mind letting Master Kimihiro go. It seems he's already near death, Ai," a guy with white gold hair pleaded. He was wearing all white clothing that of a typical god but it was more movable in. On the top of his head is what seemed like a crown made out of silver celestial beads and his eyes were near white.

"Oh! Sorry about that, Miyabi," the woman now classified as Ai apologized. "I thought I was hugging Kamui. Now, where did he run off to," she said turning her head left and right while releasing Kimihiro. Seeing him out of breath and leaving him feeling defeated has somehow left me satisfied. "Pfft."

They all looked up in my direction. Oops. Didn't mean to let that out. "Hey, Kamui. Come on down from there. There's one more thing you should know," King Masanori called out. I jumped down putting my wings away and moved cautiously keeping my distance from the two newcomers. "Don't worry, sweetie. We'll never hurt you. Don't you remember us?" the woman known as Ai asked with the hint of sadness in her eyes. I shook my head. "Should I know all of you?" I asked.

Both Ai and the white gold haired man stared at each other in concern. "Well, let us introduce ourselves," the gold haired man finally said. "Since you've already reacquainted yourself with Shin and Miyabi, I'll just state ours. My name is Hitoshi Raiden, meaning a level headed god of thunder and lightning and this is Hiromi Ai," he said gesturing Ai along with her name. "Yep. It means loves generous beauty and like my namesake, I love all beautiful hearts, especially yours Kamui," she said enthusiastically raising her arms up dancing of to somewhere unknown.

"Ooookaayy......" is what we all thought.

"Uh, how do you all know me anyway?" I suddenly asked. They stopped and looked at me blankly. Did I ask the wrong question? "How could you of all demons forget? If it weren't for Miyabi-honey, we would've never known you. Sweetie, to him, you are not only his pact holder but his mate. You are his bride and-." Before she even finished, I turned blue in the face. That's was too much information anyone could take after losing memories. Mate? Bride!? If anyone haven't noticed I'm a guy!!

My soul was about to came out but it was somehow pushed back in. "Bride!? Who the hell promised this!!" I exclaimed trying to calm down. "You did," the four of them said without hesitation. I'm about to lose it. My mind is going into a wreck..... Or is it shock?

"Okay, then. What about this whole pact ordeal?" I asked calmly trying to keep from exploding. They looked at me again with their blank faces. "Never mind. I think I know. Basically this pact thing is like power consumption or the sharing of one's abilities. In other words, another form of marriage through mucous contact," I explained.

They stood in silence for a while. "How did you know?" they asked sounding surprised. I sighed not caring anymore. "I don't know and to be honest, I'm kind of tired of this shit so do me the favor of not talking for a while."

They stood dumbfounded for a while until Kimihiro threw the chair he sat in at the wall. Everyone, including me, turned to see Kimihiro in anger. My eyes widen with shock. Among his playfulness at school in my world and his teasing personality, this was one face I didn't want to see. He rushed up to me and I reflexively stood away from him. We were facing each other with Kimihiro glaring at me with an angry look but with sad eyes.

"WHY!? Why is it that you don't remember us!? Didn't you promise to never forget!!? Why don't you at least remember me? Don't you care about us even a little!?" he fumed.

"I-I don't know!! How do you expect me to remember every fucking detail of what happened to me, huh!!? Maybe instead of blaming me, you should blame yourself for your goddamn incompetence!!" I yelled leaving everyone in silence.

"Tch," Kimihiro remarked before storming out of the library.

"*Sigh* What an idiot my son is. Such an insensitive brat," King Masanori mumbled scratching his head.

I turned my head to him in surprise. "He's your WHAT!!?"

Finally, I finished on time!! I can see why writers have tough times with deadlines.... The least I can say is I finally win. I'm through!! Ya happy now EscapadeFreedom11!! That was the chapter I promised today, so thanks for rushing me to update because of my laziness.....Hehehehe!!
