[1]Those Days Are Over

Those days are over
when you could tell me what to do and I would do it too,
When you could slam me on the walls and I would curl up in a ball.
When you would punch me in the face for reasons unknown to my brain,
When you could tell me I'm stupid and still make me do all your projects.

Those days are over when I would walk in the hallways with books slammed in my face and retort with only sarcastic comments.
When people I don't even know could make me trip, they never would have done it if they too had experienced a fist connecting with their face.

Those days are over when I would lay emotionless as they beat me to unconciousness, I won't let that leg kick me in
the gut again.
I won't harm myself believing their words.
I will fight and not stand back.

And I'll fight till they realise
That their words don't matter anymore,
And that degrading me with words won't hide their weaknesses and only show a black pit where their heart should have been.

There was a time when you told me what to do everytime,
But that's going to change now that I've realised it's about time that you went down.

Your glory days are over and they won't be coming back.
