~~~~~~~~~~~7 Hours later.
"Well, I guess I'll be on my way." I sigh as I walk to the door wearing black hoodie because it got colder and my purse.
"Good luck. See you around 11." He shouts from the upstairs bathroom as he's just about to hop in the shower. I walk outside, shutting and locking the door behind me then quickly shoving the keys into my purse and looking around to see if anyone that Jim may have hired was around. Once I knew the coast was clear, I across the street looking up at the sky to see that its already starting to get dark out. I see the street lights come on as I get to Annabelle's door. I sigh and knock on the door.
"Sunny, could you get the door?" I hear Annabelle yell.
"Sure, mom." Sunny screams back as she opens the door. Her eyes light up when she sees me, I wave to her, "Mom, Asriel's here."
"Good. I'll be down in a minute."
"My mom takes forever to get ready." Sunny sighs, "One time it took her a whole 3 hours just to put on her makeup."
"Wow. I guess she had to make sure it looked good."
"Yeah, well she was meeting with this boy and mom said that, that was how we were able to afford our food and house."
"Oh. I see." I continue with a quiet mumble, "I guess we have something in common."  Sunny walks into her living room where her show was playing, I hear Annabelle coming down the stairs. I take off my shoes.
"Hello, Asriel. Thank you so much for coming over tonight to watch my baby." She smile wide as she hikes up her dress a bit more. As if she needed that, you can pretty much see her ass already.
"Anytime."
"So I left my cell phone number pinned on the fridge in case you need to contact me. Which I doubt you will because nothing ever happens in this neighborhood anyway."
"Alright, number on fridge, got it. How about Sunny's bedtime?"
"Oh, I don't have a bedtime for her. She goes to sleep whenever she feels like it."
"Oh?" I say looking at Sunny, "Alright. I guess I can work with that." I shrug. Annabelle smiles and puts her purse over her shoulder walking to the door to put of her 7 inch black high heels.
"Dinner is in the fridge for whenever you two get hungry." She says as she opens the door.
"Alright. So you'll be home by 11, right?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. See you then." I reply locking the door behind her as she leaves.
"What are we going to do for all the time we have together?" Sunny blurts out. I turn to her and shrug.
"Whatever you want to do."
"Well, I don't know."
"Um, how about watch a movie?"
"Yeah! Okay! Can we watch Barbie movies?"
"Sure." I give her a small smile as I take a seat on the black leather couch. Sunny picks a movie and puts it in the CD player, then jumps onto the couch to sit next to me. I get the remote from off the table and push play. I look out the window into the darkness, the only thing illuminating the outside are the street lights. I tap my foot on the floor trying to get rid of some of my nervousness.
She puts her head on my shoulder half way through the movie and falls asleep. I can't do this to her it's not fair, but if Jim finds out who knows what he could do. For all I know he could put me back onto the streets or worse, have me killed.
