Paulie and Angel sat in the mostly empty room, watching the clock like their lives depended on it. Most of the time teachers gave seniors leeway, because seniority and all that. However, Mr. Little did not.

Contrary to popular belief Mr. Little was not a small man.

He was the smallest man.

Paulie guessed that it was one of the many reasons that Mr. L was so bitter.

Anyway, what they did wasn't even that bad.

So, they say there. Waiting for Mr. Little to tell them their sentence.

"I will never forgive you."

Paulie was incredulous. "Angel, it was your idea!"

Angel gasped. "How dare you! It was his dream. It was our baby!" He then lifted up the doll's arm that was severed from the rest of the body when it hit the ground from the top floor. "We knew the risks little Jack would have when he told us he wanted to be an astronaut!"

Paulie sighed dramatically. "Yes, but sometimes I think that throwing Jack towards the sky and yelling 'be one with the stars!' wasn't the right thing to do..."

Mr. Little's shrill voice erupted over their giggles, "Will you two be quite?!"
