NALA'S POV

"I DON'T LOVE IT! I DON'T LOVE THAT YOU'RE BIPOLAR! I DON'T LOVE THAT YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE WHO KILLS ANYONE WHO PISSES YOU OFF!!" He rolled his eyes at me.

"Come on, Nala, he had you in a choke hold!"

"That doesn't mean you kill him!" I cried out.

"I once killed someone 'cause he looked at me wrong! So, if he touches my girl, of cou-" he cut himself off and ran a hand through his hair. "Fuck..." He mumbled under his breath. I took a couple steps towards him.

"Did you just call me... Your girl?" I asked him, but he didn't respon. He just pulled out another smoke and lit it.

"Justin...?" Nothing.

"Justin." Nothing.

"JUSTIN?!" I shouted. He let out a shout of frustration and put his hands in his hair, pulling at it as he rested his elbows on his knees. He stood up and took a drag of the cigarette that was placed so carefully between his fingers.

"Come on. We're going for a ride." He snapped before he turned around and walked back to the SUV. I causally followed him and got into the passenger side. I rested my head against the window once more, and drifted off to sleep.

I could feel my dad stroking my hair, but I didn't open my eyes. "You're Daddy's beautiful girl... Yes, you are." He mumbled before he kissed the top of my head. "SIT DOWN BITCH, YOU MOVE AGAIN I'LL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU! DON'T MAKE ME WAKE MY BABY, SHE DONT NEED TO SEE WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DO!! Aww, why 're you crying, bitch...? WHY D' YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME SHOUT AT YOU!? HOW COULD YOU? JUST LEAVE ME AND LOVE HIM OUT THE BLUE?? Aw what's the matter, Faith? WHY YOU ALWAYS GOTTA MAKE ME SHOUT AT YOU?!" I slightly opened my eyes so I could see what was going on. My mom was curled up on the floor crying, and my dad was pacing around the room. He pulled out his gun and held it to the temple of his head.

"Too bad bitch, you're finally gonna hear me out this time! At first I'm like, "'ight, you wanna throw me out that's fine!" He turned the gun on my mom. "But not for him to take my place!" He switched it back to his temple. "Are you out of your mind?!" He started to use it to point at everything around him. "This couch, this TV, this whole house is mine! How could you let him sleep in our bed? Look at him! look at your husband now! Look at him!" My dad pointed at my step father who was knocked out on the floor...

JUSTIN'S POV

I walked into the house and threw the keys on the couch before I walked into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and drank milk out of the carton. I turned around to see all the guys sitting there.

"Where the fuck were you?" Slim asked me with anger dripping off of every word.

"I was watching over your daughter," I bowed before continuing. "You're welcome." Slim stood up and slammed his hands in the table.

"I said leave my baby girl alone! I don't want her dragged into this gang shit!" Slim shouted.

"You don't even love her!" I spat at him.

"Have you ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for her? Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for her? And you will hurt anyone who will try to harm her? But at the same time you're the source of her pain?! 'Daddy, look what I made!' Dad's gotta go catch a plane.' 'Daddy, I can't find Mommy, where is she?' 'I don't know, go play baby, Daddy's busy.' She would pile boxes in front of the door trying to stop me. 'Daddy, please, Daddy, don't leave! Daddy, no, stop it!'... She gave me this tiny locket. She said, 'Here, it will keep you safe, Daddy, take it with you'." He held the necklace out from around his neck, and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't wanna hear your lectures and shit," I sighed before walking out of the house and down the street. I as I walked, I started kicking rocks. I got to thinking. Do I like Nala? No, she's my boss' daughter... But she's so beautiful...

"Hey McCann," I turned my head only to be hit with a glass bottle. I fell to the ground, I looked up and saw Guillermo.

"Surprise, motherfucker," he snarled before pulling out a knife.
