Elliot Meets Flaws

Start from the beginning

"And you get praised for being your sister's bodyguard." Billy glared at Elliot.

"I'm not a bodyguard." Elliot glared back.

"Girls are the only human beings that are awesome," Maya smirked.

"Now, I didn't say that. I pretty awesome myself. It's just you two are lame." Elliot pointed to Lucas and Billy.

Lucas rolled his eyes taking it as a joke while Billy glared at Elliot.

"You-" Billy lunged at Elliot.

"Billy-" Lucas stopped him.

"Chill out dude. It was a joke. Cowboy gets it. Right Hee haw?" Elliot asked.

"It how he is. Relax." Lucas told Billy.

Billy sat down and glared at Elliot.

There was an awkward silence.

"I agree with Maya. Girls should have their own handshake of awesomeness." Riley said breaking the silence.

"What would it be?" Maya asked.

"Stop it.' The girls did their 'stop it' handshake.

Elliot chuckled at his girls.

"Farkle, you are being awarded the Joseph T. R. Epstein confidence award," Cory announced.

Everybody stared at Farkle's empty with a machine on top of it.

"Congratulations. Farkle?" Cory looked Farkle's empty desk confused.

"He still isn't here?" Elliot questioned worriedly.

"You know where he is?" Cory asked.

"He texted me he'd be late," Elliot told him.

"Farkle can't come to his desk right now. If you have a question for Farkle, say, 'one',  a comment, say, 'two', billing questions, 'three.'  The machine spoke up in Farkle's voice.

"One. Where are you?" Cory asked coming near the desk.

"You have selected 'three'." Said Farkle's voice.

"No, I said, 'one'."  Cory corrected.

"Sorry, we are experiencing unusually high call volume. Your call will be answered in approximately-"

"35." A man's voice stated.

"Minutes." Farkle finished.

"Representative! What is this? Farkle's never missed a class in his life." Cory said disappointed.

The bell rang and everyone left but Riley, Elliot, and Maya.

They walked up to Cory.

"Yes?" Cory asked.

"Everybody's getting an award but me. What good is having you as my teacher if the fix ain't in?!"  Riley said upset.

"I'm sorry, Riley." Cory gave her a sad smile.

"Riley, you don't need a trophy to make you feel good about yourself," Maya told her.

"Yes, I do. Sometimes I feel kind of invisible." Riley admitted.

Elliot had to stop himself from rolling his eyes.

You don't know what its like to be truely invisable... Elliot thought.
