Chapter 30:
Emily ' P.O.V:
"Finally, me and Maya are alone." I thought to myself.
"We're together, alone." Maya said out loud exactly what I thought.
"I know. I'm glad I didnt have to go with Spencer, even though I should have. " I mean I would like to be there to comfort Aria, but I'm glad I get to be alone with Maya.
"Em, you are allowed to take a rain check every once in a while, too spend some time alone." Maya starts to walk out my bedroom door.
"Wait Maya. You don't have to leave, you can stay." I said grabbing her wrist pulling her back, with the help of her turning around. After a split second our lips are locked together. They're like two magnets, that can't separate. It has been so long, I forgot how good it was. I forgot how much I missed kissing Maya, how much I miss Maya in general. When our lips unlock, I'm the first one to speak,
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you too. It almost killed me not to be able to see you, or kiss you, since I left. I hope you know that I truly do love you, watching you all the time didn't change anything." Maya almost started to cry.
There was a tear starting to form, but it didn't go anywhere it just stayed in her eye. It didn't make a river down her cheek.
"I know you do. I love you too. I don't blame you at all for you leaving. All that I care about is that you're here now."
