In a hole in the universes there appeared three original characters...
Thank you, mellyn-nin, for being here for this grand opening of sorts for Witty Nickname's first (and probably only) collab fic. So many of you hopped on board the hype train, and seem eager to join us on our feels-trip to Middle Earth. So what exactly are you jumping into?
Here's the basic idea. Amazon is doing a Lord of the Rings TV show, yes? Of all the years, of all the eras, of all the ages in Arda's history, they chose the years between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Those are about the most boring 60 years that exist in Tolkien's world. Not much happens aside from Aragorn's foray into the south as Thorongil.
So we're going to make something happen.
What, you didn't see that one coming?
As you'll see in our fanfic, just as so many authors write our world and Middle Earth as universes, there are also a million parallel universes with many of the same characters. All of them have been altered by the Original Characters inserted into each. Some more than others. Place those characters in a new world, in a time period where their skills aren't exactly needed.... well, you'll see. Soon enough.

Over the next several weeks, we will be posting small bits and pieces for you to sink your teeth into. We're hoping to begin publishing the actual story by the end of the summer.
