⚡️chapter 5⚡️

•Kenzie's POV•
*midnight*
Just Thinking of what happened earlier makes me scared.
I was scared that our parents might never come back,
Scared of the fact that the dark magicals might come back,
Scared of losing my friends.
I'm not even sure of what will happen tomorrow, i mean if we tell mr. Montrage than what?
He can't just snap his finger and everything goes back to normal, i even feared that maybe this could lead to a war between us good and bad.
I was still in the twins room, everyone else is still asleep.
I look at the time and it's 2am, i didn't sleep at all. So i decided to go downstairs and.......... i don't know.... grab some water maybe?

I walked downstairs to see the light is already on, then i heard a sound coming from the kitchen.
I approached the sound slowly to find Johnny eating doritos
K : John? What the freak are you doing?
J : eating?.... doritos?
K : at 2am?!
J : calm down, it's normal for me to eat doritos at anytime, ask the twins
J : why are you here then?
K : i can't sleep
J : thinking about earlier?
K : yeah.....
J : here, have some
K : ummm... no thanks i don't eat at 2am
J : *laughs*
We were just having a nice chat about doritos when suddenly we heard a loud bang from outside
K : what was that?!
I said freaking out
J : i don't now...... come here!
I walked to John and he leads us to the living room carefully.

Then the lights starts to flicker on and off again, while the banging noises just moved to the kitchen window area.
K : what's happening?!
J : come on we need to hide!
John said while grabbing my hands and we start to run to the basement
K : John? What are we doing here?
J : were hiding, if someone or something is actually out there, we need to hide
K : what about the others?
J : oh shoot! We need to wake them up
K : ya think?!
J : come!
We then walked out the basement and it was quite.
K : are they gone?
J : we don't know yet
K : lets go!
We started walking a bit faster when out of nowhere a black shadow walked past me really fast making me fall to the ground
J : KENZ! You ok?!
K : owww! WHAT WAS THAT?!
I said still on the ground cause my body is hurting
J : can you get up?
I tried getting up but it didn't work, i didn't even move a little
K : why can't i move?!
J : i don't know!
K : John! Just wake them up
J : fine
The John started running towards the stairs, then the shadow came back but in a different shape, it was like a human form

The shadow started hitting Johnny then Johnny fell to the ground but gets back up.

Johnny tried to punch the shadow multiple times but his hand just went through it
J : i can't touch it!!
Then he kept trying.
I wonder how the others are still asleep during this loud stuff
K : GUYS!!! ANYONE!! HELP US!!
I screamed
J : what do i do?!
Than i think, if the shadow can't be touched physically, maybe using powers will work? Yes!

K : JOHNNY! Try using your powers!!
J : great idea!

•Johnny's POV•
I was trying to punch this shadow thing but it didn't work!
Ugh what should i do now?!
K : JOHNNY! Try using your powers!!
Kenzie screamed
That's actually a brilliant idea
J : great idea!

Then i closed my eyes and concentrate.
I need to do this, it needs to work
I kept saying that in my mind when suddenly i felt the sparks.
I quickly turn my hand towards the shadow and the sparks got even bigger, it's almost look like lighting bolts

K : HURRY JOHN!!
J : i'm trying!! I'm trying!!!!!!
With that the lightning burst out from the palm of my hand destroying the shadow monster.
I felt weak after, when suddenly i felt my body collapse to the ground and everything wen't black.

•Kenzie's POV•
I saw lighting burst out of Johnny's hand.
Then i realize that he did it! He actually did it!
I was happy, then suddenly my body was allowed to move again as the shadow disappeared
K : Johnny! You did it!
Then i saw him fall to the ground
K : JOHNNY?! Omg john!!
I approached his body to see if he's still alive
K : he's still breathing
I breathe out, still panicking
K : john! John! Please wake up!
K : HELP! ANYONE? PLEASE GUYS WAKE UP!!!!!
I screamed.
Then the gang starts running down.

First one to be down was the twins
La : what?!
L : OMG JOHNNY, KENZIE?!
La : GUYS WHAT HAPPENED?!
I started crying on the floor with Johnny's head on my lap.
Seconds after that the others show up
A : whoa? OMG! WHAT HAPPENED?!
R : what is it that you need to wa-..... WHAT THE HELL?!!
H : GUYS! KENZ, JOHN, ARE YOU GUYS OK?!
C : What happened here?!
I sob as everyone starts approaching us
K : he's still alive, just passed out
Then they breathe out relieved
La : still, what the heck happened to the both of you?!
K : t- th-there w-as a shadow
R : shadow?!
K : yea
I sigh
Then Lauren and Laura came over to Johnny and picked him up, then lays him on the couch
R : ok, so tell us what happened!
H : no details is to little
La : Chop! Chop!
Then i told them what happened.

After i finished the story they all stare at me with their mouth wide open
L : MY BROTHER DID THAT?!
La : THERE'S NO WAY!!
K : he did, i was very surprised to
H : where did that shadow came from?
K : i don't know
C : how did we slept through all of this?!
R : yea, it's scary
L : what if it comes back?!
K : we fight
Then it was silent, like dead silent
La : well, i don't think anyone is going to bed for a whole week after this
Then we heard Johnny waking up
J : ...........

YELLOOOWWWWW!!!!!!

I'm so excited to write the upcoming chapters cause they're actually gonna start using their powers!!!!
