•Kenzie's POV•
Me, Laura and Lauren was just hanging out at the kitchen while waiting for Annie and Riel to come
When suddenly the lights wen't off scaring us three. The light flickered back on after 5 seconds
The three of us looked at each other with a confused face
La : what the fudge just happened!
L : yea, we have never had electricity problem before
Then Johnny came running down stairs
J : what was that?!
K : we don't know
JM : kids!
L : what's up mom?
JM : we need you guys to stay at home and don't come out until we come back
J : why? What's wrong?
K : yea, where are you guys going anyway?
JM : you kids don't know about this yet but this had happened before
La : what?!
JM : this is not just a normal thing, that's why us leaders need to go
L : where?
JM : were going to the barrier. The last time this had happened, the barrier was broken by the dark magicals
J : they broke in?
JM : *nod* yes
JM : now i have to go! Remember, don't come out until i say so
The four of us just nodded as Meredith left the house
K : that's why annie and riel is still not here!
La : yea i think so
L : their parent don't allow then to come either huh?
Suddenly the lights wen't off again but this time it was longer.
I started to freak out. No body knows this but i'm actually terrified of the dark. I'm scared of it more than anything else
J : kenz? U ok?
Then a single tear left my eyes
J : hey why are you crying? It's ok don't be afraid
By the time, me and johnny was alone in the living room since Laura and Lauren wen't to their bedroom to get their phones
K : i'm sorry it's just that i'm afraid of the dark
After that i started crying because i was living my nightmare of being trapped in the dark
J : it's ok don't cry, i'm here
Then he hugged me
His voice is very calming and when he hugged me i felt warm and... safe?
It's just that his hug is different from the others. It's gives me butterflies.
What is wrong with me? Do i like him?
No, that's impossible
I was zoning out not even realizing that the light is back on
J : look! The light is back! See? It wasn't that bad, you don't have to be scared
He said still hugging me
K : yea.. thanks
J : no problem
Suddenly there was a flash coming from the right
J : Laura! Lauren!
I just realized that they had taken pictures of us hugging
La : Omg! I ship!
L : *giggles* yea! Let's give them a ship name!
La : hmmm....
La+L : oh! JENZIE!
They said at the same time making me blush
La : oooooo is someone blushing?
She said poking my red cheek
K : what? No! I'm not blushing
I said looking away
They continue laughing until someone came bursting through the fronts door
K : who is that?
