MERMAID
To be a mermaid
That is my dream
To be where the creatures of the sea wade
Far beneath the sun and it's gleam
Forever embraced by gentle waves
Surrounded by pink kissed coral
Lost in daydreams of treasure filled caves
With fish more colorful than any floral
That is my dream one day
To trade my legs for a tail
Swim in the bay
Confident my fins won't fail
