The Order had decided to split up into pairs to collect the supplies. Petra and Jesse decided to go mining, Jess and Lukas went to collect mob drops from some spawners they had found nearby and just kill mobs for loot in general, and Olivia and Axel went to get wood, and some other necessary items that were easier to obtain, since they could carry a lot more stuff. They also decided to go to the Nether together after to grab some other supplies.

Jesse and Petra walked to the nearest cave system that had not been completely explored yet. There were plenty of large cave systems, and some had rails leading downward as well, to save time from climbing down. They only led to a certain point, though, because not all of the caves had been completely explored. Only the area where the rails were had torches. Jesse and Petra hopped into the minecarts, and headed down.

Recently, they had found out that they could simply use ores to repair their weapons and armor, such as using a diamond to repair a diamond sword, and such. Reaching the end of the mine, they hopped out, each with two iron pickaxes and one diamond pick enchanted with Fortune II.

The iron picks were used more for digging through stone, and the diamond for ores. That way, they wouldn't waste durability with pointless digging.

"Hey Jesse, what did we need the most?" Petra asked.

"I think we need at least ten to thirty diamonds, Olivia needs at least four more stacks of redstone I think, we're running out of lapis for enchantments, I don't think we need too much gold but it'll be good to get some anyways, same with coal, and probably some more iron because iron is plain useful. I think Axel wanted about five or six more emeralds as well. And we need some obsidian just in case the portal breaks, along with some beacons I want to make to place at the front of the entrances," Jesse listed, checking off his fingers.

"Wow, were we that low on stuff?" Petra asked.

"Yeah."

"Hey, let's make this a competition," Petra said excitedly. "First to get ten diamonds, two stacks of redstone, stack of iron, half a stack of gold and coal, sixteen lapis, and three emeralds win. Bonus if we can get obsidian. Whoever gets it first should go find the other. You have the compasses, right?"

Ivor had made them each a special compass so that it would always track the Order member closest to them. It was in a way similar to the amulet, except was much more simpler in design, and could only track one member at a time, in a radius of around a hundred blocks or so. It had proved to be especially helpful when they were exploring new areas or mining.

"Yep, I have it. What does winner get?"

"Hmmm......winner gets to choose one thing for the loser to do."

"Oh, you're on!"

Both raced off into separate directions, mining into the walls.

Lukas and Jess carefully chopped down the wood that fenced a spawner. Some time ago, the Order had come across a skeleton spawner. They had blocked it off in case someone had wandered around there, but occasionally they entered in, usually to collect drops and do some fighting practice. Both had Looting II and Sharpness III on their swords, so the drop chances were higher. Bones were always useful, whether it was for bonemeal or for wolves, and it was much more easier to kill skeletons for arrows. Don't get them wrong, sticks and flint were easy to obtain, but after the Sky City adventure, both were hesitant about killing chickens for feathers. They stuck with skeletons.

"So, how much do we need?" Lukas asked Jess.

"The farms I think are okay, although more bonemeal wouldn't hurt, I suppose. We do need more arrows, though, Olivia needs some for herself, and those dispensers she installed to kill any mob that got too close to our town are also low on arrows. Axel needed more gunpowder for his TNT, and I think that's it. Although we'll have to check the grinder for the gunpowder." They had made a simple grinder after they returned from the Portal Hallway, and while it was nowhere as fancy as Soren's, it was efficient enough.

"Alright then, I guess we'll go to the spawner first and then the grinder on the way back," Lukas conceded.

"Fine with me."

"So, where are we going next?" Axel asked Olivia as they finished counting up the wood in their inventory. Lukas especially liked experimenting with different combinations of blocks, and wood was always useful to quickly repair a house or block off a dangerous area.

Well, except for that one time a someone had built a small doghouse out of wood near Ivor's lava house, but other than that...

"Jesse mentioned something about beacons at the entrances, I think. Help mark out the town at night. So maybe we should go grab some sand and dye," Olivia responded. After the Witherstorm, they'd found out that the purple wither star could power a lot of beacons, as long as they were wired together with redstone. "The flower patch is close to the beach anyways."

"Okay!" They set off towards the water.

Steve ran like his life depended on it (which in this case, it probably did). His breath was coming in heaving gasps, although he didn't stop or look behind him. He knew he was coming.

Suddenly, he saw a cliff looming in front of him, and skidded to a halt. He looked down. There was no water, only the hard ground, and there was no way he would be able to survive the fall.

He backed up as Herobrine came into sight, not even showing the slightest bit of exertion. Herobrine smirked. "Well, this game of tag's been fun, but I'm afraid it has to end."

His sword sliced down, and he became painfully aware of the ground shaking, as he fell down, down, waiting for his demise, "Steve!"–

Steve jolted awake, his eyes wide in terror. "Steve! Wake up!" Someone shouted, shaking him. He took deep breaths, calming himself down.

Alex stared down at him, emerald green eyes blinking down at lapis blue. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah," he managed. Then he composed himself. "It was just a nightmare."

She stared at him suspiciously. Steve winced. Usually, nightmares weren't just nightmares, but he shouldn't be back. He couldn't be.

"You sure?"

"Sure."

"Well, anyways, what was the nightmare about?"

"Ermm...... I don't remember," Steve said, trying to look sincere. He did, of course, remember the details vividly, but he didn't want to think about it.

She didn't seem like she believed him, but didn't press it. She sighed. "Well, fine."

"Why'd you wake me up so early anyways?" he asked, yawning.

"It's 11:00 AM," she deadpanned. "Almost lunch."

"WAIT WHAT?!" he glanced at the clock next to him. Sure enough, it was eleven.

"I should probably get going, shouldn't I?" he sighed, running a hand through his messy brown hair.

She smirked, her eyes twinkling. "Yes, I suppose you should."

This story will probably be completely platonic shipping. Even though I'm a Jetra shipper, the way this story goes, I think I'm keeping it just as friendships.  It should update just like Watched did, once a week, and this time I'm planning to keep it going during the summer, although I'm not sure how often it'll update during then.  Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
