Gajeel P.O.V

"So where are we staying?" Levy asked as she took her boots off while I drove. I grimaced. "You won't like it." She groaned. "Please no." "Sorry." The only person who could house us was my father, and though he was kind to her at first, Levy quickly found his true colors. He was a womanizer.

"I don't want to live with that dirty old man." she pouted and I couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry it won't be forever." I pat her hand. I drove us to his large, two story house. We walked in and were instantly greeted by Lily. "There's my boy!" she said as she picked him up.

"I'm kinda jealous of the cat." My dad said from the living room. Levy shot him a glare. "Dirty old man..."she muttered while Lily curled up on her shoulder. "Where is our room?" I took her hand and lead her upstairs. I closed the door behind us and laid on the bed.

I couldn't help but stare as Levy took off her cat suit. "Did you bring me any clothes?" she asked, now only in undergarments. "Who needs clothes?" I grinned. "Your just as bad as the old man." I frowned. "I take offense to that." She giggled as she crawled onto the bed.

I woke up the next morning to Lily licking my face. Levy was curled up naked in my arms, clothes forgotten. I smiled a little and kissed her forehead before getting up. I pulled on my boxers and a pair of jeans before walking downstairs with a very hungry cat.

"Chill Lily I'm working on it." I said as he complained. I quickly fed him before working on our own breakfast. "Go get your girl and tell her food is ready." I said to Lily. He meowed and ran off. Smart cat.

I finished just as Levy walked in. She was wearing a simple tank top and some sleep shorts. We sat and ate quietly, finishing as my dad came in. "You didn't make me anything? "Hell no." He pouted before looking at Levy.

"Why is your arm still wrapped?" she looked down. "I don't like looking at the burns." He smiled a little, in doctor mode. "They will heal better with some air." She nodded a little. "And the leg?" She smiled. "A bit sore but fine." He nodded.

Levy stood up grabbing our empty plates. "I'm going to turn in that necklace. You coming?" she turned to me. I shook my head. "I got a job." she nodded. She headed upstairs to get dressed. "You don't have a job." My dad said to me. I grinned. "Well, not in the usual sense."

Levy P.O.V

I headed back to the manor, my reward in hand and humming lightly to myself. I suddenly had this creeping feeling on the back of my neck. I didn't stop walking or humming as I quickly glanced around. I saw it on the roof tops. A glint of silver.

A snipper.

As I rounded a corner I dove into an alley. I looked up just as the bullet pierced where I had been a second before. I quickly grabbed my gun and peeked around the corner. The snipper was gone.

I cursed and stood for a moment in the alley. I was still a good mile away from the manor. I tried to think of all the different paths to take to the manor when that creeping feeling came back. I looked up and saw the snipper again, gun pointed straight down at me. I dove as they fired.

I turned and aimed my gun, firing a clip at them. They dove back, hiding on the roof. I quickly climbed a near by fire escape and towards the roof. Bad move. As I emerged on the roof the snipper was waiting and fired.

The bullet pierced my right shoulder and the force sent my back over the edge. I reached out and grabbed a hold of the fire escape, slamming myself into the railing. I couldn't feel my right arm and I was losing my grip. I looked up and the snipper had their gun trained on me. I glared up at them and willed my arm to move but it was no good.

I heard a bang but never felt the bite. I looked back up at the snipper to see them topple over the edge of the roof and smack into the ground. "What the-" I looked up again and grinned. "I owe you Bisca!" The green haired woman smiled as she hurried down the fire escape towards me and pulled me up.

She tied off my wound before helping me back to the manor. Talli was in the infirmary when we entered. "Look at that, we leave you alone and you get yourself shot." I glared at him. "Shut up old man." "Feisty." I groaned as I sat down.

Bisca left while Talli worked on my shoulder. "I'm asking as a doctor so don't hurt me alright?" I nodded. "Before I give you any pain medication or the likes, is there a chance you could be pregnant?" I blushed but tried to remember he's being a doctor, not my boyfriends pervy dad. "I dunno. I guess there's a chance." He nodded before taking a blood sample. "What's that for?" I asked.

"Along with your standard test, a blood test can also tell if your pregnant. Just to be safe." He smiled as he put the sample in a small machine and turned it on. He left it alone as he came back to me and began stitching up my shoulder. Once finished he wrapped my shoulder and gave me a sling. "It tore the ligaments and muscle tissue. Your out of commission again for about a week." I groaned as I laid face down on the bed.

He pat my head and chuckled. "Just a week" I sighed before getting up. "It will be about an hour before that test is done but I will let you know what it says."I nodded before heading down to the bar. "Miiiiraaaa!" I whined. The bar maid smiled. "Oh Levy-chan. You went and got hurt again. Here." She started digging through the small fridge under the counter. Every time i got hurt I came to get some comfort food. She set a slice of chilled chocolate cheese cake in front of me.

"I love you Mira." I smiled and dig in to the cake. I felt a tap on my shower and looked up to see Bisca. "I told master what happened. He is going to look into it." "Fank you Fista" I mumbled around my cake. She grinned and nodded before walking away. About an hour later I decided to go see Talli. I hadn't thought about it, but Gajeel and I weren't exactly carful and I was beginning to worry,

I opened the door just as he stopped the small machine. "Perfect timing." He said as I sat in his chair. "Well?" He looked at me and smiled. "Looks like I get to be a grandpa."
