22. Eva

"YES! YES YES YES I'LL MARRY YOU!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as Liam got to his feet and embraced me with immense force.

"I love you so much," sighed Liam, still squeezing the life out of me.

"Um.... Liam... I..Love you... and all... but... your breaking my ribs...here" I spluttered.

"Oh, sorry love," he laughed pulling away.

I was the happiest girl in the whole wide world and I was positive nothing could make me happier than I am now. I stared into my loving Fiancée's eyes. My soon to be husband. The love of my life. The ray of hope in my life.

"FREEZE!" Shouted a booming voice not too far. I looked up to find ourselves surrounded by police. Of course! I have to end up jinxing things.

"Seriously! We're in the middle of a moment here. Can u give us some time and come back like... never. ThankYouBye," I rushed, turning to face Liam again, who now looked pale with anxiety.

"Stay where you are! Your under arrest,"

"Ugh! For what? We didn't do anything wrong," I groaned.

"You didn't do anything wrong?! Liam was in a gang and you just helped him escape prison. You think there's nothing wrong with that?" Shouted the officer.
"People like you end up getting your sentence extended to life imprisonment. Just turn yourself in already before you somehow make things worse."

The man barely finished his sentence before he fell the the ground. A large figure stands if behind him, anger glowing in his eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked, trembling as Liam took a step in front and pushed me behind him.

"How could you Liam?! You betrayed us! Boss is rotting in prison because of you!" Yelled the broad beefy man taking a step towards Liam.

"We couldn've accomplished anything if you hadn't snaked," Said the other, slightly shorter, slightly less intimidating man. "There's only one punishment worthy for rats like you, death. A slow, painful death,"

Liam turned to face me and gave me that look. I know that look well enough now. "Liam don't you dare think about going with them!" I whimpered, tears beginning to fall down my pale face.

"I can't live in peace knowing your in danger. At least this way, you'll be safe," he sighed.

"You leaving me, that'll be what kills me."
I pulled Liam closer to me and took a step closer to the edge of the cliff, pulling him away from the two beefy men. "If you die, I die, because I know for a fact I can't live without you." I whispered to Liam.

"Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my with my angel as an angel if you get what I mean." Said Liam.

We looked out into the sunset and looked deep into each other's eyes, our hand strongly intertwined around each other.

"Right now, there's only one thing that seems to answer all our problem. We can escape all our enemies and live in preface together, forever," sighed Liam. "But it isn't the the greatest solution... it goes wayyyyy past the border of insane."

"I think I understand what you mean, and it sounds perfect. It's the only way to escape our problems," I whispered, taking another step towards the cliff so we were now balancing at the very edge.

"Are you sure this is what you want. Once we do this there's no going back," Asked Liam.

"I'm positive," I replied confidently. "Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of eternity with the love of my life." I looked into Liam's mesmerising eyes and with that...

We took our last step together, off the edge of that every cliff. Although we were falling, most likely faster then the speed of sound, Liam's hand rained locked with mine.

We fell to our doom.
But we fell,
together.
