I had just told her that I had taken a shot at my brother and she does the most unexpected thing. Evangeline is so unique. She looks at the bright side of things always. She did the most unexpected thing ever. She kissed me. And not just a tiny peck of a kiss but full on, passionate kiss. All my problems vanished as her gentle hands caressed my face, and I drifted far off from reality.

Every time I have looked into her gorgeous eyes I've been lost in thought, but this kiss... it was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life. My troubles vanished and my arms wrapped around her petit waist, never wanting to let go. There was a sudden knock at the door. My dream was abruptly interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Who the hell is interrupting my lifelong dream?" I said. Oops! I let my inside voice out again didn't I.

"So I'm your lifelong dream ay?" I heard the chuckle of Eva behind me, followed by another pounding at the door. Man this person was impatient. I walked over to the door, followed by Eva, and flung open the door to see...

"What are you doing in my house!" Yelled a middle aged woman. Oh darn it! I guess the owner of the cabin decided to come home.

"AUDRE! It's been forever! Squeaked an excited voice behind me. I guess Eva knew this person.

"Evangeline! Where have you been his past year! And who's this big piece of eye candy next to you!" She grinned at me.

"Back off. This is my man!" She said, sternly.
So I'm her man now ay. When she called me her man, my heart skipped a beat. Wow! I never want this feeling to end. The girls talked for about half an hour and and soon we left.

"So where is your brother?" Asked Eva.
Damn it! I forgot all about that's jerk.

"Don't worry about him. He's probably got drunk again and forgot about this whole thing. I'll walk you back home just to make sure though." I replied. I knew that was most likely but I also knew my brother very well, and deep down I knew he wouldn't let this go. I may have started a fight till the death.

Eva opened the door to her abandoned looking house but the door effortlessly swung open. There was a clear sign of forced entry. Who would have broken into her house at 2:00 am. I hoped and prayed it was a petty thief but my gut instinct knew something was up.

I pondered outside not realising Eva had already entered the house. Two seconds later my heart stopped as a piercing scream of a Terrified woman echoed through the streets.

"EVA!" I yelled her name but got no response. I almost ripped the door off it's hinges and ran up the spiral stairs. A bloody trail lead to a door at the end of the corridor. I threw open the door and received the shock of my life.

"Hello again brother! Good to see you." Said Daniel, a huge grin plastered to his face. He held a blade drenched in blood like his clothes and the floor. "Did you miss me?"
