Silence. Uncomfortable silence. Jimin licks his lips slowly. He can tell Hoseok is being careful with his words and controlling over his intensity. He isn't trying to argue, to bother, or to force. He's only reading in between the lines of what's hidden and what's made apparent to see why Jungkook would want him to go back to a place full of vicious memory. "I just don't want to see where he-"
"It scares you." Hoseok interjects. "You're afraid of reliving one of your worst nightmares, but really that's exactly what you need to do."
The blanket of weak defenses is ripped from Jimin's body. His tongue numbs in his mouth, incapable of formulating words, have he any at all. He hushed for a moment, before snapping bitterly at his friend before him, breaking the silence. "Why are you helping him torture me? You're supposed to be my best friend." Petty, Jimin knows. But, his heart beats unnaturally quick in his chest and anything else would be weightless to say.
Relaxing into the smallest sigh of relief, Hoseok's shoulders ease. He might've thought once before that the worst part of this adventure would be seeing where Jungkook was hurt for himself, but Jimin is a handful of a boy he must have forgotten to account for. With a tiny smile, feeling hopeful, the older replies, "This isn't torture, it's finding closure. You'll feel so much better when it's over."
Jimin rolls his eyes, but he feels a little better hearing the possibility of a life without fear. "Lets get it over with then."

Small fingers grasp onto Hoseok's elbow. He looks behind him, Jimin eyes not meeting his gaze and instead following the messy cracks branching out onto the old paved sidewalk. It's a quiet morning, nearing close to the afternoon. The sun shines it's warmth and light over the dark red memory of this place.
"It was right here." Jimin whispers, softly in a way as though any noise might attract another incident. Maybe this isn't his side of town, but in the light of generous rays of sunshine it doesn't appear much different in comparison to the sidewalk in front of his home. Scanning the concrete beneath his feet, he finds nothing to remind him of that night that Jungkook endured the pain of being shot unsuspectingly. There are no stains upon the sidewalk, no tattered clothing left behind. Just a familiar face against a nearby tree, watching them closely from a short distance.
"You really convinced him to come?" Namjoon calls out, striding away from the tree to approach them. He pulls the weary boy into a one armed hug, roughing a hand through his hair playfully to brighten the bitter mood Jimin emits. "You made it, so smile. Everything is okay."
Jimin chooses to glare, but being surrounded by his friends calms his nerves. Slightly annoyed over Namjoon staying alone in such a place for however long he must have waited, he contemplates lecturing the man, but chooses not to. It would be better to get his next clue and move on from it all. Maybe he does feel kind of better, but returning still doesn't completely rest easy on his chest. Jimin holds out his hands, pout settling on his lips. "Clue?"
Hoseok laughs, Namjoon groaning in disbelief. "That's all you have to say about this?"
"About having to relive one of my worst nightmares, yes." Jimin challenges.
Shrugging, Namjoon obliges. He trusts that in order for Hoseok to get Jimin to come back, all that needs to be explained already has been. He pulls the tiny black box from his pocket, placing it deliberately into the small hand presented. "This place shouldn't give you nightmares, Jiminie. It's only a sidewalk." He looks up at Hoseok and smiles. "See you guys later."
Watching another friend leave him behind with Hoseok, the friend he shifts his glare onto, Jimin opens the clue box and feels for the paper inside.
Unable to hide his amusement, Hoseok smiles softly, motioning with his chin for Jimin to look down. "Read it."
Scoffing again, Jimin looks away from the other. His eyes find the next words written for him to follow, and he hopes it's nothing bad.
You needed to be here to help you let go.
You keep your head busy with sorrows and woes.
I want you to be happy, so lets move on from this.
Being afraid will only keep you from a life full of bliss.
Your next clue resides in a place of healing hands.
Take your time visiting a friend if you can.
