Chapter 16 - PART 2 - Superhuman

"Don't give me that. You know why!!"

She looked down again as I lifted her chin up with my index finger, I looked deeply into her gray eyes and said,

"You can tell me."

She picked up her fork and started playing around with her spaghetti.

"I haven't told anyone but I-I'm having suicidal thoughts again. I don't know why I'm still here. I'm just tired of feeling like a waste of space. Have you ever felt like you wantedto start a whole new life? I do every time I wake up in the morning."

I sipped on my gingerale as I cleared my throat,

"Of course. I think we all do. But you're kind of neglecting your reason for being here. You need to make mistakes to build character. I wake up every morning wanting to start all over again. But I just have to keep on pushing through because I can't keep giving people around me the satisfaction that they want. We we're all brought here for a reason, and you're not appreciating your reason to be here."

She nodded her head,

"I want to know something Louis. Can we try to at least be friends? I hate to say this but I really can't stand to be away from you. I never did."

"Then break-up with Kendall to be with me."

"I'm not breaking up with Kendall. I don't want to be a couple. I just need to make sure that we'll be able to make it even as friends."

I nodded, I don't like the idea of being just friends with Roxy. But if this is what she needs then I'm happy to be by her side, even as a friend.

"Yeah. I'd like that."

We both smiled as the body guard sat next to Roxy.

"You guys can leave in thirty minutes."

Roxy looked at him,

"I actually don't think we'll need you guys anymore. We need some privacy, please?"

He nodded as he grabbed the other bodyguard as they left.

"So, how did you become famous? I never heard the story?"

Roxy asked me,

"After we broke up. I left everything and moved back to England. I realized after three months that I wasn't doing anything with my life so I joined X-Factor UK. The guys heard that I did and they decided that we should enter as a group. The whole world and the audience went crazy for us. Two years later and here I am signing autographs for countless people and doing something I love."

She smiled,

"And you? How did you become the international Roxanne Dianne, worlds best song writer?"

She giggled as she hit my shoulder,

"Well, I started working as a fashion designer after our split. I loved doing it and everything but then I realized that I really am not a fashionista so I should stop. I was stuck at my house pacing and wondering what my next move would be? I heard an add on the radio that Simon was looking for someone to write songs for him. So I came to Syco records and I re-introduced myself as the nightingale since Simon remembers me for that song. That song got so much hits that he decided to hire me to write more songs for him."

I nodded my head,

"I never noticed that you were around until that day at Tim Hortons. Sage would always make me wait for her to get the coffees since she lived with me, I let her. Then she moved in with James but she always made sure to pick me up and get the coffees for me."
