The song that was playing changed to a new song. It was a song from a band that I loved.
"Oh, I love this song." I said as I glanced back.
"Do you? Well it seems like you have good taste in music..." he ran a hand through his hair. "You know I felt really bad about your iPod..." he then got up and walked over to the stereo and looked through a stack of Cd's.
"Don't worry about it. Honestly I was going to buy a new iPod anyways. I needed a reason to get a new one. And you gave me the excuse. " I laughed.
He looked back and smiled at me. "Well aren't I great then? Or my dog Bruno must be." He grabbed a CD from the stereo and walked back to me. "Here... it's a CD I put together with all my favorite songs. You can listen to that until you get a new iPod. And I'm not taking no for an answer." He handed me the CD.
I looked down at the CD and nodded. "Alright, I'll give it a listen."
"And if you happen to hate the songs on the CD... then you obviously don't know good music." he said glancing at me.
"We'll see about that." I said with a smirk.
"Now who wants to go swimming?" Tyler said smiling.
"Ooh I do." Lexi said excitedly
"Count us in." Tara said from the couch.
Ryan, Dean, and Luke all nodded in agreement. We all then headed upstairs and off to the pool.
We were all out by the pool. I didn't really feel like going swimming. It was really hot, but I decided I would just take a seat and watch them.
"Oh come on, quit being boring Becky!" Lexi said as she tugged at my arm.
I stuck my tongue out at her. "I'm not boring Becky..."
"Then just come swim with us." She said pleading.
I shook my head.
"Hmph." She then walked over to Tyler who began to pull his shirt off and she quietly said something to him.
Tara and Gavin jumped into the pool together holding hands. Ryan and Luke both did a cannonball and Lexie ran off and dived into the pool.
Tyler walked over to me. "Will you go swimming with the rest of us?"
I glanced at Lexie then back at him. "I don't really feel like it... sorry."
"Please?" He asked softly.
I shook my head then shrugged.
He then turned at Lexie. "I asked nicely..." He then glanced at me and gave a sly smirk...
I narrowed my eyes. "Why are you smiling at me like that?"
His smile grew. "Because you're going swimming with us."
"Says who?" I asked.
"Says me." Tyler said. Then before I could run, Tyler grabbed me and threw me over his shoulders.
Lexie and the others laughed. "Throw her in!" She said.
"Hey!!! Put me down!" I yelled.
"Now why would I do that?" He said laughing.
"Because I said so!" I started to kick my legs.
"Sorry, can't do that." He then spun us around in circles making me a little dizzy.
The others continued to laugh. Tyler then moved me around so that he was carrying me in front of him with both hands.
I glared at him. "You better not throw me in the pool... or else."
"Or else what?" he said grinning. His face was only inches away. His bare skin was touching me. Despite how hot he looked, I did not want to go into the pool.
"Don't do it..." I said.
He looked into my eyes for a few moments then jumped into the pool while still holding me.
We hit the water and went under. I swam up to the surface. He had a stupid smile on his face.
"You got my clothes all wet!" I said.
"Looks like you gotta take them off now." He said with a wink.
I rolled my eyes. "You'd like that wouldn't you?" I couldn't help but smile.
"Admit it, you knew that was fun." He said.
Well now I was completely drenched. Well I guess it wasn't that bad. Thankfully I had my swimsuit under my clothes.
I stuck my tongue out at him. I slid my shorts off and took off my tank top revealing an aqua blue bikini.
I threw my clothes at him making sure it hit him. "Jerk." I said while laughing.
He tossed my clothes to the side and smirked. He started to swim closer to me.
"Oh no you don't... keep your distance." I said
He then went underwater and I could see him come closer. As he inched near he grabbed me by my legs and pulled me under water. We wrestled for a few moments then went back up for air.
Lexi gave me the thumbs up right before she was pulled away by Dean. I laughed. Honestly, I was having a good time. Like Lexi said earlier... I'll be missing out on so much. She was right.
