"Get a move on!" An unknown voice barked out, a sharp pain hit hard in his stomach resulting in his eyes to flicker open in shock. The dark came to light as he looked around a blurry haze of the world surrounding him, tall intense rich green trees and the sight of a big stone wall. Gradually coming to his senses, he looked up at the frustrated guard who had been the source of pain by kicking him.

Leon had been laying in a sizable puddle of dirt and mud, stumbling to his feet half of his body covered in quick-drying mud. The guard shooting him a glare as he stumbled his way to the stone wall, no real clue on where he was traveling to.

Strangers didn't hesitate to push past him, not taking the confused boy thoughtfully. Struggling to keep himself from bumping into the townspeople surrounding him, he leaned himself against the walls of the opening of the city. The goal ahead of him being the city, tall stone buildings with intricate glass panels.

One step, another then a loud thud falling to the dirt road once again unable to maintain his stance.

A minute passed without movement from Leon, the boy struggled to recompose himself and his thoughts, feelings and confusion.

Leon.

This had been the only word his mind could think of, unable to conjure up any other memory. Leaving him with a dreadful migraine which only worsened with each passing minute, to make matters worse a flush of nausea hit Leon hard resulting in the boy clenching his teeth together.

Townspeople passed by, sending squinted glares in his direction as no pity was sent his way.

All sounds were blurred out by the ringing that overwhelmed Leon. The shouting and the horses, the sound getting oddly louder, his head turning to the only sound he could hear.

The blurry sight of a cart racing towards the entrance of the town, two halfling arguing with each other and a tall, blond elf sitting in the back rather comfortably.

The cart had right of way through the crowd of townspeople, much to their displeasure.

"Here we are! Get out!" A halfling man shouted from the front of the cart, horses neighing at the sudden halt. Leon's head turned to watch the scene, propping himself up against the stone wall. Clenching his hands around his stomach.

"N-No need to be so rude, we can take him rest of the way." Another halfling who sat next to the man tried to reason with him, gently resting her hands on his arms. The blond nobleman showed a charming smile waving his hand at the couple's bickering, "you two don't mind taking me the rest of the way right? I can put in a good word..."

The halfling man burned red with frustration, jumping from his position at the front only to wobble over to the back. Yelling and cursing at the man, claiming him to be a 'spoiled brat' who needs to learn a 'lesson or two'...

Despite the halflings short stature, such attitude toward the elf caused him to defensively hold his hands up. Submissively hoping off the back of the cart, backing off from the halfling with possible murderous intent.

The nobleman scoffed at the attitude, ready to walk off through the halfling had other plans. Sending a swift kick to off-put the elf's footing, sending into the disgusting mud. Cursing to himself over his dirty clothes, looking back at the halfling with squinted eyes only to faced with a smug expression.

The cart flying off into the busy streets of the city frustrated him greatly, hands and knees were deeply sunk into the mud. Growling in annoyance he looked forward, his eyes meeting a pale, sickly Leon.

The elf's eyes fluttered, studying the ill boy...sickly skin, the dirty blond hair, a hazy expression covering his features.

The comparatively healthier man's eyebrows were quick to rise. Rushing to recompose himself only now realizing the mess he had gotten himself into.

An uncomfortable cough erupted from the elf, studying Leon worryingly. "Uhm...pardon me, are you okay?" He offered out a hand to help the weak boy up, which Leon gladly accepted. Their hands linking together Leon almost slipping back onto the ground, gripping the stranger's other arm to keep himself from falling. A reassuring smile radiated from him, something warm to keep himself motivated to stay upright.

"T-Thank you." Leon's voice wavered, unsure of himself and the situation.

"It's a pleasure...now to introduce myself," the stranger took a deep breath planting his soon to be famous grin on his face.

"I'm Cier Lockford, it's a pleasure to meet you."
