I wasn't a nerd nor a goody two shoes..

You may think or it seems that way to you but..

The thing was that I just liked to get good grades and do the right stuff.

That was just it really..

Shawn's POV:

I watched as she walked through the school doors and glared at the guys cat- calling her, chewing her bubble gum that she had in her mouth.

As she walked her dark hair bounced and her rubber boots with chains and jewellery clanged with every movement she made.

That was Dae Matkins..

I wouldn't call her the 'Popular Girl' but I would say that she was known..

I liked her...

Like a lot..

Other guys would find it weird that a guy like me..

Would like a girl who is exactly the opposite of me.

I didn't know why I liked her either..

I guess I just liked the unexpectations she had within her ways..

I smiled at my thoughts..

I watched as she curved and turned to go around the halls.

I then blinked and woke up from thoughts land..

The bell had rung and I had to go to Science class first.

I walked into the lab and put down my things at the side of the room.

I had grabbed a goggles to put over my head and put on a lab jacket.

We were gonna do an experiment today.

I then looked towards the door as I saw Dae enter the room..

Oh..

I almost forgot that she was in my class.

She had put down her things then the teacher called her.

"Ms.Matkins?" He called.

She stood up with her hand on her hip and rose her eyebrow looking annoyed.

"You know you can't be chewing bubble gum in the lab." He said to her.

She then turned around to the bin, still looking at teacher and spit out the gum.

She stood up straight.

"Is that all?" She asked in annoyance.

He nodded in response.

She then rolled her eyes and walked off to
look for a seat.

"A free seat is right over here," I told her from  across the room.

She looked at me then shrugged like she didn't mind.

She then made her way over beside me.

Maybe I could try to start a conversation with her..

"Um he- "

"Yeah, whatever." She had shut me up.

She put on her goggles and her lab coat.

She looked so adorable with the goggles..

Her dark lipstick made her dark coloured eyes stand out.

She looked so small in the lab coat.

"What? Something on my face?"

My eyebrows rose.
