I can't find the sky.
The sky that's always above my head is gone, as if pick-pocketed and replaced with a full bucket of gray ink. A splash on all four dimensions, the trees that used to be trees and bark that used to be ardent with crevices, unforgivably emptied of colour----
Just moments ago, the diverseness of springing, leaping, and shade-sitting colours leaked out of the world, leaving behind a vast, abundant, streak of unabideable loneliness, and the sky continues without light-----
I look to where the sky should have been.
And wished to something that was no longer there.
But I knew it was still there.
To colour this world back again,
even more than it had been before-----
And what twinkled its light within this in-understandable time, was a single, starry star--
