Chapter 6

Harry's POV:

I didn't want to lie to Jennifer, but I had to.. I had no choice. She would flip out if she knew that I don't know where Leah is, even though I'm pretty sure that she's probably shopping or something.

I'll find a good time to call Leah later and ask, i guess.

The car ride has been completely silent

As soon as we got out of the car

Jennifer looked at me and said

"um harry, since we don't know much about each other would you mind telling me some things about you, and Leah?" Jennifer broke the silence and waited for a reply.

"Oh.. Well there's not much to say, Leah & I have been friends since we were kids.. We used to hang out at my place a lot and then we drifted apart, she moved to New York and I stayed here."

Jennifer looked at me and leaned closer to me

"Harry, do you like Leah?"

I can feel myself getting nervous. I stuttered while answering

"I-I- you mean as a uh uh friend?"

"No.. More"

I looked down immediately and tried to avoid eye contact for some reason this question got me

"Just tell me..honestly"

she bit her lip and waited for a reply

"Oh well, we're just friends.. Honestly I just like her as a friend nothing more and she feels the same"

Now we looked straight into each others eyes, she had these beautiful hazel brown eyes and I leaned closer

We were now almost about to kiss

When she pulled back and asked
"Wait, where IS Leah?"

"You know what, I'll call her..
Stay here, ill be right back"

She waited patiently while I got out of the living room and headed upstairs to my room to call Leah

I dialled her number as quick as possible 905...

*ring ring ring*

Pick up.. pick up please

"Hello?"
"Leah!!! Is that you?
"Yes who is this?"
"It's harry, where are you?"
"This hotel I checked into just this morning it's called sunset blaze hotel, why? do you want me to come to your place?"
"I just wanted to check if you're okay you didn't call me And i didn't know where you were, jennifer is here"
"Oh yeah sorry, oh really jennifer? wait we'll talk soon i'm coming to your place, be there soon bye!"
She hung up..

Ouuf she's okay. Oh yeah Jennifer!

I hurried downstairs to Jennifer
"She's coming, she's okay.." I said reassuring myself that everything is okay.

"Oh alright that's wonderful" Jennifer said

"hey Jennifer, I want to ask you something..

"Yeah, sure anything"

"Um If you're free would you like to go on a date with me?"

She seemed surprised

"Oh.. haha yeah that sounds great"
She blushed a little.

Now, we're both waiting for Leah to come.
