As Marinette walked towards the school with Alya beside her, she couldn't stop thinking about her soul mate. He had finally written to her and she only responded once. How could she have let Alya write to him the whole time while she just sat there, freaking out? But, as Marinette approached Adrien and Nino her thoughts were stopped. Adrien was apparently gushing over finally writing to his soul mate. Which Marinette found quite ironic because she had the same thing happen to her yesterday.

"So, dudette, Alya told me your soul mate finally wrote to you yesterday. Seems like you and my dude have finally found your missing pieces." Nino said leaning on Alya since they have been soul mates for two years. Marinette just smiled still mad at herself for how she acted when her soul mate wrote to her. Alya, who had now caught on to her disappointed look decided to speak for her best friend.

"Yeah, well you see Mari here is a huge scaredy cat when it comes to 'taking' to her soul mate so I 'spoke' in her place," Alya spoke nudging Marinette in the side, to try and make her laugh. Marinette blushed slightly trying to hide her embarrassment. While Adrien was in his own thoughts thinking about his soul mates friend and how she too spoke for her. He questioned if perhaps Marinette was his soulmate, but was brought out of his thoughts as the school bell rang. The group of four friends walked into the classroom chatting about random things until the teacher started the lesson. After school ended, Marinette rushed home as she had a lot of homework to finish. Halfway through her physics homework, a question appeared on her arm.

"Hey soul mate, whatcha doing?" Adrien asked bored after talking to his kwamii about cheese.

"Physics homework. Sadly, it's my least favorite subject." Marinette responded, glad to have a distraction.

"I'm actually quite good at physics. Would you like some help?" Adrien asked trying to show off to his soul mate

"That would be great. We should do it by text thought so we don't run out of space" Marinette responded.

"That's a good idea." Adrien wrote, along with his phone number. After that, Adrien helped Marinette finish her homework. By the time they were done, it was 8:00, which meant they could talk for three more hours before patrol. They used the time to ask each other questions about their families. Marinette felt bad when she heard that her soul mate only lived with his dad. Which is ironically Adrien's family situation as well. Although, they texted away asking each other questions it never crossed their mind to say either of their names and as the time rolled by they didn't notice they were late for patrol. Adrien who always looks forward to his nightly adventures looked at the clock and saw it was 11:34.

"Sorry I need to go. My father hates it when I stay up late. Bye:)" Adrien texted coming up with an excuse to go on patrol with his Lady.

"Actually, I should go to. It is rather late and there's school tomorrow. Bye;)" Marinette typed, finally seeing the time. After that, they both put down their phones and transformed. Marinette swung above buildings trying to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower as fast as she could. Little did she know that a certain black cat was doing the same thing. By the time both landed on the Eiffel Tower, they were out of breath. None of them speaking until they were able to breathe again. Once both had finally composed themselves, they began patrol.

"M'lady, may I ask why you were late to patrol?"

"Yes sorry, I was texting a friend."

"Oh, and who is this mystery friend of yours?"

"Kitty, you know I can't tell you. It could lead to you figuring out my identity."

"I know, but it was worth a shot."

"Silly Kitty. Come on we have patrol." Ladybug said picking up speed to cover the whole city of Paris. Chat Noir following her every move but still falling behind at times.

"Bugaboo!"

"What?" Ladybug said stopping to see her partner.

"I was wondering, how long have we gone without an Akuma?"

"I'm not sure Kitty, maybe about a week. Why?"

"It's just that Hawkmoth never takes this much time without an Akuma."

"Yeah, you're right. That's why we need to be on high alert 24/7." Ladybug said sternly.

"Okay. I hope none show up on Saturday."

"Ooooh. Does Chat Noir have a date on Saturday?"

"Actually yes." Chat said a grin spreading on his face.

"Cool. Whoever the girl is, she's lucky to be going on a date with you." Ladybug said while ringing his bell and starting to swing again.

"Thanks, M'lady." Chat Noir said picking up the pace to keep up with the red bug. As the night passed by and they finished patrol they found no Akuma's to fight. At the end of the night, they went their separate ways.
