"Yes Its true! Look at that!" A man dressed in a black striped suit pointed at a couple walking by,"They have already found each other!" He cried.
People crowded around the man's booth,which had a pretty decent line,though some onlookers who were skeptical only lingered at the sides,watching those who the man tested walk in the direction where their red string was apparently connected to.

John and Seraphina were observing the line. They saw couples walk off happily, a sign that they were meant to be,and they saw others with surprised glances as they looked over to the direction the man pointed to.

Seraphina had her extensions off,seeing as her hair was already growing long. It framed her face perfectly, only brushing her shoulders at its length.

"Sera,I want to give it a go."
John's gaze stayed on the booth,a bright gaze on his features.
Seraphina looked at him doubtfully, "Remember what happened the last time ?"

John gave her a reassuring smile,"What could he do?"

That did it for Seraphina. The two got in line,and began to wait.

After a while,it was their turn. The man gave them a warm smile
"A couple?" He asked. John and Sera faced each other awkwardly,"No,sir." John told him. "We're friends. " Seraphina added,a light blush on her face.
The Man nodded,"Put your hands on the table,please,"

John put his right hand on the table, Seraphina following suit.

The duo shared awkward glances as the man closed his eyes and hovered his hands over theirs. A few moments later a smile appeared on his face,much to the confusion of the two.

He looked up at them,grabbing their hands and joining them together.

"Your soulmate. They're right here."

"Well, this is awkward." John mumbled. He and his best friend walked away from the booth. Both had  very prominent blushes on their faces.

"Maybe he's a fake?" Seraphina suggested,"I sensed an ability in him." John said. Sera looked at him,"Maybe it wasn't that red string thing he claims to have."

John faked an offended look,"You're that adamant on not being my soulmate? I'm hurt Sera."

Seraphina blushed madly,"W-what!? No!-No. I was just...being careful.."
John noticed her reddened face,but took no note of it. He smirked teasingly,"I was joking,Sera."

Seraphina turned away,"Right." She mumbled.

They were nearing the girls dormitories. John reached inside his pockets,taking out a pair of earphones and plugged one into his ear. He scrolled through his phone and tapped about,then shut it off and put it inside his pocket.

"What're you listening to?" Seraphina asked
"Pentatonix" he replied
"Oh.Which song?"
"Can't Sleep Love" John smiled,"One of my favorites from them."
