Wrapping her arms around Catherine she rubbed her hand up and down her back, careful of the bump between them. "I'm always here you know that. If you want to get drunk and dance on tables," she whispered in her ear as Catherine let out a tearful chuckle as they pulled apart. "I know I can always count on you. And after this one is born we'll certainly have an evening for that." Catherine told her with a tearful smile.
"Just take care of yourself right now. You have this little one to think about as well." Kate told her as she gave her arm a small squeeze and her bump a small rub. "I'll try." she shuddered as Kate gave her an understanding look.
"You take care of her." she reminded Will in a sisterly manner scolding her brother. As he handed Charlotte back to Kate, he walked up to her and hugged her as well. She truly was the little sister they never had. They could always count on her to be there and whoop their asses in if they did something. the only difference was, she wasn't Royal or blood family. but she was in choice, they couldn't explain it. both he and Harry had gotten this instant connection with her. Wrapping her arms around Will she patted his back. "I'm here if you need to talk okay," she told him as she kissed his cheek in a sisterly manner.
"If there's anything else, call me. Don't worry about the kids." Kate assured them as she took Charlotte in her arms. "aunty Kate." Charlotte smiled as she wrapped her arms around Kate and kissed her cheeks. "it's my aunty Kate." George called out from where he was sat beside Arthur, nudging each other's side playfully. "There still at it?" she asked Catherine who nodded her head.
"I'll keep them away from the news and all," she assured the emotional parents again. Both knew that there was no better place for their children to be with. Like they always said, the sister they never had and could always count on.
"You're a lifesaver, sis." Will smiled as he kissed her cheek again, followed by Kate before they left the room. She hadn't even thought about the people in the room with her as she moved a wiggling and antsy Charlotte in her other arm.
"What?" she asked innocently to all the stunned faces around her with a shrug of her shoulders. "That was Prince William and Kate." They stuttered in a stunning manner. "Uncle Will and Aunty Kate," Arthur called with a beaming grin as Kate rolled her eyes.
"What's going on?" Glen wondered, having gotten over his shock a little. Having seen the pictures of them together hadn't been enough to prepare him for this though. "Prince Philip had a small heart attack. He's alright, it's just procedure for them to go to BP. Their nanny has the weekend off so I'm taking care of them." she explained as she nodded her head to the three kids now playing the piano or more making noise than anything else with the three of them. She hoped the piano would survive it.
"George," Charlotte yelled when he nudged her off the small chair, walking up to them, she took Charlotte in her arms. "George," she said in a warning tone as she gave him the look. Every child knew what that meant, Kate gave one warning before you got put in the corner.
"I should probably go before the three of them decide to break off the studio." She told them with a small chuckle as Charlotte started playing with her necklace she'd gotten from Meghan for Christmas.
"We could help to keep them occupied." They all suggested but she shook her head. In public they were angles. But they could be little devils in private.
"It's really nice of you to offer, but I should get them to my place. I'll come by some other time," she assured them as she started saying goodbye to everyone. "George, Arthur come on, we're going home," she called, motioning her head to the door as they got off the bench.
"Can we make pancakes?" they asked her as she nodded her head with a chuckle. "Sure, come on, stay close to me, Warren and Pete," she warned them before they nodded their heads and walked on either side of her.
