Later that night, Draco woke up with a start to the sound of Harry screaming.

"Harry?" Draco tried to shake him awake. "Harry! Wake up!"

Harry sat up quickly, clutching his chest. "D-Draco?" He looked over at his roommate and Draco could see tears in the young wizard's eyes.

"You had a nightmare." Draco guessed. "Didn't you?"

Harry simply nodded his head in response.

"Care to tell me what it was about?" Draco asked, placing a delicate, pale hand on top of Harry's.

Harry took a deep, calming breath and looked out the window.

"There were three deer." Harry explained. "A doe, a stag, and a fawn. They were grazing in a open field. The stag heard a strange noise and went to investigate. Then there was a gunshot. The doe and fawn ran off into the woods. Then the doe was shot. The fawn kept running until it was cornered by a hunter. The hunter took aim at the fawn and shot him. And then you woke me up." He looked down at the bed sheets and was about to start crying again. "I know what the dream was. It was a memory. The doe and stag were my parents and I was the fawn."

"And who was the hunter?" Draco asked.

Emerald eyes locked with cold gray ones as Harry answered with the one name that struck fear in the hearts of millions. "Voldemort."

Draco stared at him in shock. "So, that nightmare was about the night that he...."

"That he killed my parents." Harry whispered.

"Oh, Harry." Draco said, rubbing his back. "I'm sorry that happened to you. No one should ever have to witness their parents deaths. Especially at as young an age as you were." He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "But, it was only a memory. And, hey, if you can survive a death curse, you can survive anything that comes your way." He looked over at Harry and smiled.

"Thanks, Draco." Harry replied. "That means a lot." He fell back onto the bed and Draco did the same. "That dream really did scare me though. I don't think I'll be able to get back to sleep."

"Well, in that case," Draco said, getting up. "Come with me." He pulled on a pair of sweatpants and his school shoes. "Oh, and bring the cloak of invisibility. It'll come in handy."

"And just where are we going?" Harry asked, getting up as well.

"Just come on." Draco urged.

Harry just sighed and grabbed the cloak, wrapping it around the two of them.
