Cool winter air drafted through the school grounds. Messy raven hair twisting and curling as a soft sigh left rose pink lips. Harry shook his head, wishing he had taken up Ron's offer on staying with his family during their holiday. Though, he did not want to impose any more trouble on the Weasley family than he already had.
Harry kicked at the snow covered ground, sniffling from the cold. He stood up straight, readjusting his Gryffindor coloured scarf. After doing so he shook his head once more. The raven haired boy had decided to go for a short walk; being bored out of his mind. Now he was headed for the library to catch up on his studies.
His hands resting in the large pockets of his winter robe. The cold tingling at his slightly tanned skin. In less than ten minutes he made his way to the library, walking straight to the back to find some books on Potions. He wasn't exactly gifted in Potions, but we wouldn't let that stop him from doing his best. Harry was always one to never give up. He couldn't stand the thought.
"Tsk, what are you doing here, Potter?" grumbling an all too familiar voice; that voice belonging to Draco Malfoy.
Malfoy wasn't Harry's best friend, nor did he think the blond would ever be. Malfoy was a git, a prat, always making snide remarks. Though, Harry wasn't in the mood for a petty fight. He was cold and just wanted to quietly read.
"Malfoy, I'm not in the mood. All I want to do is read." Harry sighed, his emerald eyes staring directly into Draco's cool silver ones.
"You're actually doing your work for once?" Draco snickered, crossing his arms.
Draco wanted to do the exact same as Harry, though would never admit it. He wanted to catch up on some light reading. He had decided to stay to get away from his family for a while. Not his whole family, mainly his father; Lucius Malfoy. Though that was not the only reason he stayed.
To the blond's dismay he had fallen for the messy haired prat set beside him. He had known he'd had feelings for him since third year. Though the only contact he could have with Harry was if he argued and tormented the raven haired male. As those were also part of his father's wishes.
It hurt Draco gravely to see Harry in pain. He wanted to wrap his arms around him and tell him everything will be okay, just to give it time. He couldn't do that. It pained him to know he could never do that. He could never hold Harry and Harry could never hold him. His father would murder him to say the least if he found out that Draco Malfoy, his only son, was in love with another male.
"Look Potter; I'm sorry. I'm sorry I've been such a prat to you over the years. It wasn't my intention to torment you. Wasn't exactly my choice." Draco sighed, stating his words carefully, quietly.
Harry shook his head, knowing that none of what Draco did was his own fault. He knew what would happen if Draco disobeyed his father; as he had figured out the horrors Sirius had gone through. Harry knew Draco had feelings for him, it was obvious by the heart wrenching scowl and pain within Draco's silver eyes each time he looked at him.
"I forgive you." Harry whispered back, a light smile threatening his pale lips.
"I...I-" Draco stuttered, trying to get the words out as tears threatened to spill; he didn't know how to thank Harry.
"I fancy you, Malfoy. Have since second year. I know what you go through back at home. I know how you feel about me. I have no right not to forgive you for what your father made you do. How about we spend the Christmas holiday together?" Harry suggested, laying one of his hands atop Draco's.
"That sounds lovely." Draco grinned, linking his fingers with Harry's.

"Draco it's time to get up." Harry chuckled as his boyfriend nuzzled closer to him; not wanting to open his eyes.
"Mmm, no. I'm comfy." the blond hummed, curling into a ball by Harry's side.
The large scarlet and gold sweater he wore pulled over his bare legs. He sighed after about five minutes, knowing he had to get up since it was time for breakfast. With a soft groan he sat up, his blond hair messy, as he was basically drowning in Harry's oversized Christmas sweater. Draco waited for Harry to stand up; stretching his arms out like a child begging to be picked up.
"Can't you walk?" Harry smirked, chuckling and shaking his head at his boyfriend's tired state.
Draco shook his head in return, pouting a bit. He was tired and wanted to be in Harry's arms. Though, that tended to be all he ever wanted. To be held in Harry's arm grasp, safe from all the evils around him.
Harry finally picked Draco up, holding his tightly as the blond wrapped his legs around Harry's waist. All he wore was a pair of green and black checkered boxers and Harry's sweater. Harry carried Draco over to the bathroom, setting him down on the sink. Harry gave Draco a soft peck on the lips, handing him a pair of scarlet and gold checkered pajama pants.
"Pull those on and we can go get some breakfast." Harry stated with a yawn, stretching as he ran a comb throw his messy hair, playing with Draco's a bit.
Draco quickly pulled them on, jumping onto Harry's back before the other could react,"Onward!" Draco giggled, kissing behind Harry's ear.
"Are you having fun?" Harry beamed, carrying Draco all the way from the Gryffindor tower to the great hall.
"As a matter-a-fact I am." Draco huffed playfully, hugged onto Harry's form as the other carried him.
