Chapter 14 - Human

"I don't want you to read that-"

Lonely, lonely. So you think that you know me. You're the only one who knows who I am.

He started singing my lyrics I wrote, the song is called human. I wrote it for Cher Lloyd because she wanted some new material and I thought that this would suit her the best.

"You can't even sing. I don't understand how people can even stand you."

He gasped,

"And you can do any better?"

That sounds like a challenge,

"You think you're so fucking smart Louis. Just fuck off and leave already. Simon won't care-"

"Ok that's enough!"

We heard a voice at the door and both turned towards it,

"You two, sit down, now."

We both sat down as Simon sat at my desk, oh boy.

"You two have been fighting since day 1. I know you two have had a relationship in the past, but you need to let that go."

Louis and I started complaining at the same time, Simon forcefully hit the desk as we both shut up.

"You two are going to do a challenge. Tonight, you will both meet me at the Spaghetti-oke."

He said as if we were actually gonna show up,

"If you decide not to show up. You both are fired."

I rolled my eyes and got really mad, Louis on the other hand looked relieved...?

"Can I please bring Kendall with me!"

I pleaded,

"No, this is an exercise for the both of you. Now, 7:00pm, Spaghetti-oke. Be there or lose your job. Bye."

He said as happy as anyone could be, except for me right now. I looked to see Louis smirking once again,

"I don't know what in the hell is wrong with you. Stop smirking like the idiot you are because it's not cute. It's desperate and disgusting."

I got up and left the room, I need my Kendall right now... Wow, I never thought I'd say I need someone more than Louis in my whole entire teen-hood.

-Sages POV-

I was in my office as I heard a knock on the door. Louis head popped in.

"Hey Louis. Take a seat."

He did as said as he sat right in front of me excitedly,

"What's up with you?"

He grinned widely,

"Oh I don't know. It's just that Simon is forcing Roxy and I to spend a dinner together alone tonight at 7:00pm."

My eyes widened,

"That's good! Go have fun, and no hitting on her. She's in a relationship. Don't be that kind of guy Lou."

He nodded as Perrie walked in,

"Hey guys. What's up with you two?"

She questioned at our smirks,

"Louis has got a 'date' tonight with Roxy."

There are air quotes on date if you didn't notice people.

"That's awesome! Go get her Lou-Bear!"

Perrie said as she wrapped her arms around his neck and sat on him. I don't know about you, but from this poor of view. It makes it looks really romantic.

I heard another knock on the door as I granted them entrance,

"Hey Sage- Perrie?"

Perrie jumped off of Louis.

"We were just talking Zayn. What's up?"

He looked really hurt over Perrie's action,

"I just wanted some biography writing skills and I needed your help."

I smiled and nodded,

"Get out you two, I've got real work to do."

They both ran out as Louis patted Zayn on the back and Perrie quickly kissed him on the lips and ran out.

Zayn sat down right in front of me,

"I know you're not here to talk to me about that zayn."

I said stating the obvious,

"Look, I just am concerned about Perrie because she's been acting weird around Louis ever since I came back from my family."

I put my hand on his to reassure him,

"Honestly Zayn, there is nothing going on between them. Louis is going after Roxy and were both rooting for him."

Zayn's eyes shot wide as I said that,

"I thought you were Kendall's friend? Why would you be rooting for Louis and Roxy to get back together?"

He asked pissed off,

"Whoah calm down Zayn. We all know that Roxy will always love Louis, and only Louis."

Zayn slammed his hands on my desk,

"Can't you see that Louis is no good for Roxy? The only thing he has done for them is tear her apart. No matter how nice he was to her. She's completely broken. I don't think she'll ever be fixed."

I sighed,

"Why don't you want them together Zayn? They will end up together in the end anyways. We all know that."

Zayn huffed,

"You don't get it do you? Your just pushing your so called best friend back into a maniac depression and heartbreak. She's happy with Kendall. Let her be and stop trying to set up with someone who will completely destroy her. Please, focus on your own life and stop trying to help her figure hers out for her."

Zayn shot as he left the room. I really can't believe that he thinks that I try to figure out Roxy's life for hers. I know Roxy better than any of them. So they should all keep quiet.
