Chapter 2 - First Troubles

Start from the beginning

"Ah, so you're the Naruto I've been hearing so much about," Sasuke said, finally turning his head to fully look at the blonde. "Heiwa-nee tells me and Nii-san a lot about you and your sisters as well."

"So we're kind of like family, right?" Naruto asked rhetorically, leaning his head on his hand. "Through Heiwa-neechan, I mean."

"I suppose so," Sasuke said, putting his chin on his hands which were folded in front of his face. "I guess that also makes you part of the family with a lot of the other Uchiha through Heiwa-nee. Shinrei is like that, too."

"His mother is part of the Hirasaka clan from Yumegakure," Naruto said and Sasuke nodded. From there, the two boys talked about whatever came to mind up. Naruko and Mito joined at some point, earning a few looks from other girls, but that was to be expected.

Soon, their sensei entered the classroom and told everyone to sit down. Mito and Naruko chose the desk behind Sasuke and Naruto, sitting next to the Hyuga girl. One of the guys sat next to Naruto, though Naruto didn't recognize him.

"Good morning, class," Iruka said.

"Good morning," the class said back.

"My name is Umino Iruka, and I'm going to be your sensei until your class graduates," Iruka said. "For the first order of business, I'm going to call the class roll. When your name is called, please stand and introduce yourself. Then, tell the class something about yourself."

Iruka then started calling off names. Naruto didn't care a whole lot, but he still paid attention. Apparently, a few kids came from rich families, others had only one parent, some liked to do artsy stuff, another liked to spar with their father, one or two were fairly timid, and a few.

"Uzumaki Mito."

Mito stood from her seat, posture perfect and hands folded in front of her neatly. "I'm Uzumaki Mito. Something about me is that I enjoy learning."

"Thank you, Mito," Iruka said. "Uzumaki Naruko."

Naruto could already hear the whispers starting up as his other sister stood up. "My name is Uzumaki Naruko. I like to do gymnastics. My older cousin got me into it."

"That sounds interesting," Iruka said as Naruko sat down. "Uzumaki Naruto."

"All three of the Hokage's kids in the same class?"

"Isn't that third one the one your parents tell you to stay away from?"

"Yeah, but I'm not sure why. He seems nice."

"Sasuke-kun likes him, so he's okay with me."

"I heard that they're actually cousins through an upperclassman."

"That's so cool! I wanna be friends with both of them."

"Not me. They all look like trouble."

"Of course you would say that."

"I'm Uzumaki Naruto," Naruto said over the whispering, standing up. "I enjoy writing stories, though I'm no good at it."

"It's good for you to have hobbies," Iruka said with a smile. Naruto sat down and Iruka continued roll call. There were only a few people left, but Naruto didn't really know any of them so he didn't pay a whole lot of attention. Soon roll call was finished.

"For class today, we'll be going outside," Iruka said and most of the kids cheered. They quickly filed out of the classroom, Naruto at the back of the group with his sisters.

The class left the building and walked to the middle of the field. They gathered in a group, facing the trees and Iruka.

"Today, we're going to do a run over the basic ninja weapons and how they're used," Iruka said, pulling shuriken and kunai out of his tool pouch. He then turned and threw them at a tree. The weapons embedded themselves into the wood. There were several exclamations of wonder from the class.
