Chapter 11

Matsuri just glared at the man who was her father.
"Aren't you gonna give your old man a hug?" He asked. It was silent for a moment but that silence was broken by Mitsuko who attacked one of the gangsters
"Argh!"
"Gah!"
"Wh-what the he-Gah!" Taruto yelled in pain as he got stabbed on his leg. Mitsuko handed Harumin her bag with her katanas inside.
"Haha! Wow Matsuri I see that you made some new friends...well I'm surprised now let's see how strong you have gotten" Her father said as he pulled his knife
"Just leave..." Matsuri said
"Not without you. So...we can do this the easy way or the hard way..." Taruto said. Matsuri just glared at him clenching her knife tightly then suddenly threw a knife at him which he dogded
"Alright then...the hard way" He said as he walked closer to Matsuri. She gulped and walked up to him with her knife ready to fight.
"Show your old man your skills..." He said as he raised his knife aiming at Matsuri and she dogded all his attacks
"Impressive but...what about this?" He said easing his leg aiming for Matsuri's side and she blocked the attack with her arms
"Good now...this!" He said as he threw a knife at Matsuri's thigh which he successfully did.
"Argh...f-fuck" Matsuri mumbled. She saw Harumin about to attack but she shook her head not wanting help. Taruto laughed and walked up to Matsuri almost grabbing her hair but she saw a clear shot then grabbed the knife that was on her thigh and pulled it out of her thigh now having two knives and stabbed his both thighs placing the knives as deep she could
"Gah! D-damnit!" He said falling down. Matsuri grabbed her special knife then stood up weakly since she has an injured leg.
"Look out!" Lina exclaimed. Matsuri looked behind her and her eyes widen as she recognized that person who was about to stab her but Harumin blocked the attack and kicked her side.
She was...trying to kill me...why...I thought we were friends...
Flashback
Matsuri was with Tonisha playing outside.
"Don't worry Matsuri...I understand how you feel. I also hate your father..." Tonisha said
"Yeah...I mean I wish I could protect my mother but...my father always locks me up in the dark room and beat my mother up just because she was hanging out with some guys but she never cheats on him..." Matsuri said
"He's just possessive..." Tonisha said. The two girls were sitting outside watching the sunset
"Tonisha..." Matsuri said
"Yes?" Tonisha replied
"Will we ever escape...I don't want to be here anymore..." Matsuri said looking down.
"Hey...we'll escape together one day. We're friends and friends stick together and protect each other" Tonisha said. Matsuri smiled and hugged Tonisha
End Of Flashback
"Wh-why...Tonisha...why...I thought we were fri-"
"Friends...hehe...yeah but you know...it had to turn out like this" Tonisha said
"What do you fuckin mean it had to turn out like this?! I thought you said friends stick together and protect each other!" Matsuri said tearing up
"Ugh...stop crying you little baby. Things change okay? But it seems like you haven't changed...you may be strong and tough looking on the outside but on the inside...you're just a baby" Tonisha said and stood up walking up to Matsuri but her path was stopped by Harumin
"Just leave..." Harumin said
"Hehe...Matsuri looks like you made new friends haven't you?" Tonisha asked. Matsuri was just standing there looking on the ground not able to think about anything.
"Wait a minute...Matsuri are you a lesbian because I've heard rumors about you...dating a girl. Is that true?" Tonisha asked. It was quiet and Matsuri could just see her blood dripping from her wound
"So ninja girl..." Tonisha paused and grabbed Harumin by her school tie and pulled her close to her
"H-hey wha-"
"Tell me...are you this little kid's girlfriend?" Tonisha asked
"Leave my sister alone..." Mitsuko said grabbing Tonisha
"Sister? Hey you two are the Taniguchi sisters. Hm? I wonder if big chest runs in the family..." Tonisha said with a smirk. Mitsuko sighed and punched her
"Ouch! What the hell was that for?!" Tonisha exclaimed. The officers then came by grabbing the injured gangsters and Matsuri's father
"He seriously can't do anything right" An old man said standing on the roof of the Aihara Academy
"Sir...may I?" A guy asked
"Go ahead..." The old man said. The guy smiled and jumped from the roof and pulled his knife
"Look out from above!" He shouted grabbing everyone's attention. Matsuri gasped and grabbed Harumin's katana blocking his attack
"Wow you surprisingly stopped my attack" He laughed then kicked Matsuri. Mitsuko then ran up to him and stabbed him
"Gah!! Haha!" He was laughing. Matsuri stood up and her eyes widen when she saw...grandfather in the Aihara Academy
Flashback
"Get the kid out of my way" Her grandfather said. Matsuri always wanted to spend sometime with her grandfather since she wanted to have a connection with him
"B-but grandpa...I just wanted to spend time with you" Matsuri said. Her grandfather turned around to glare at her and sighed
"Just leave me alone...you're a waste of my time. Why did Taruto ended up having someone like you...stupid kid" He mumbled. Matsuri just stood there and teared up
End of Flashback
Matsuri clenched the katana she had tightly once her grandfather came down.
"Well...I knew something like that was going to happen" Her grandfather said
"Dad! You rea-"
"Shut up! Your mission was simple! All you had to do is get the girl!" Her grandfather said and pulled out his gun shooting the officers. Mitsuko and Harumin both pulled their katanas about to stab him but he grabbed their katanas and kicked them hard. He grabbed Harumin then looked at the blonde girl who was next to the black haired girl then grabbed her. He walked up to Matsuri with the two girls
"Choose..." He said dropping the girls and pulled two guns aiming at Harumin and Yuzu
"Ch-choose..." Matsuri mumbled
"Yes choose. Which one do you want to save? Your girlfriend or your sister...if you don't give me an answer in 10 seconds they both die " He said. Matsuri trembled as she stared at Harumin's hazel eyes and Yuzu's green eyes. She couldn't decide and kept trembling

"Ti-"
"BAM!" A gunshot was heard from behind the old man and he was shot from his back. He turned around and growled seeing Matsuri's mother
"This day just keeps getting better and better..." He said and pulled the guns away from the girls and aimed at the lady standing behind him
"How did you escape...?" He asked
"Leave my daughter and her friends alone..." She said aiming the gun at him.
"My son made a terrible mistake choosing you over her" He said
"Taruto loves me..." She said
"Does he? I believe your relationship with him isn't going so well is it...especially since that brat was born" He said. Matsuri crawled over to Yuzu and Harumin
"H-harumin-senpai...Y-yuzu-chan..." She mumbled as she started to tear up. She felt weak...she couldn't stop her grandfather...she was close losing the ones she loved.
"Hey...it'll be okay" Yuzu said. Matsuri sighed then felt something behind her and the katana she had in her hand used it to block the attack from the same guy
"You have wonderful instincts...." He said. Matsuri growled and kicked his leg then ran to grab Harumin's other katana that she dropped on the ground
"Come back here you little kid" He said as he jumped up and was about to tackle Matsuri but she turned around holding the two katanas and stabbed his chest
"Y-you argh..." He coughed blood and Matsuri pulled the katanas out of his chest. Her grandfather just sighed and started shooting her mother but she dodged the bullets and pulled a knife stabbing his side. His right eye turned black and the blood coming from his wound turned into the black substance. He chuckled and threw a knife at Matsuri's mother
"Mom!" Matsuri exclaimed and ran up to him with the katanas
"You little bastard!" He said as he was about to stab her but her left eye turned black and she ducked down then stabbed his chest and stomach with the katanas
"Die..." She mumbled
"Argh...fuck.." He then stabbed her back and the two of them fell down bleeding
"Matsuri?!" The gang exclaimed and ran up to her. Matsuri looked up and felt her vision start to blur. She looked at Harumin but for some reason...she looked like a lady she knew back then...the one who...saved her
Flashback
Matsuri whimpered while Brono kicked her and threw a rock on her head making it bleed. He suddenly pushed her making her fall off a cliff but she holded onto the edge of the cliff.
"Do you think anyone will save you..." Brono said as he stepped on her fingers. Matsuri suddenly let go falling from the cliff. All she could see was Brono smirk and she closed her eyes while tearing up. She knew it was the end for her but she suddenly felt someone catch her. She opened her eyes slowly and looked up at a lady who's eyes were hazel and had beautiful long auburn hair.
"Don't worry dear I'll take you to the hospital" She said. Matsuri closed her eyes and passed out.
End Of Flashback
The old man ran away from the police with a few help of his friends.
"Don't let him get away!" Police officers said chasing after them. Matsuri looked around weakly and saw gangsters run away trying to escape and she heard sirens and screams which became muffled noises and everything went...black.
