In the middle of November, she skipped work and got out coloured cardboard, a glass jar, textas, scissors and $23 in coins. I was confused about what she was making, because she hadn't told me anything beforehand. I stayed home from work as well and bought her grapes and popcorn as she crafted. She cut out little flowers and stuck in on the inside of the jar, and in fancy writing wrote 'Adventure Money. Please Donate'. She didn't talk at all throughout it. But when she had finished, she dropped the $23 inside the jar and said, "I want to go on an adventure. Please donate". And so I did.
