imagine; peter dancing with you after you've had a really rough week.
recently, you'd been feeling really out of it. always tired, didn't feel like eating, and whenever the rest of the guardians went out to have some fun you always opted to staying in the milano.
peter, your boyfriend, didn't know what was wrong. but he knew how to help.
currently you laid on your shared bed staring up at the blank ceiling, a frown present on your tired face.
"i must have been through a million girls."
you sat up confused. but then the music got louder.
"i'd love 'em then I'd leave 'em alone."
leaving the room, there stood quill with a his signature grin on his face as he leaned against the makeshift dining room table.
"peter, what're you—?"
suddenly he grabbed your wrist, twirling you around and then holding you against his chest. "we're gonna dance together until i see a smile on that pretty little face of yours," was all he said.
so, for the next hour, you danced like little kids around the ship, and peter loved seeing you smile every minute of it.
