Chapter: Twelve

"Yeah.. They're here now. By the way Where is Saale-Sahab? Didn't see him from the morning itself?" Shyam asked

"He had left to the office in the morning, But didn't come back for lunch. I don't know actually" Anjali said confused

"He's with my Jethani ji Anjali di. I saw the two of them in Arnav Bhai's car. I guess they were going for a long drive (Sister-in-law)" Payal said

"Oh.. Okay. What? Now that's news Payal.. Let him come back, We'll have an opportunity to tease the hell out of him" Anjali winked at Payal

"Alright then, You two please continue with your planning and plotting, I'll be off to the court" Shyam said stealing a peck from Anjali before heading out

Anjali blushed

Payal smiled at her

"Where were you Payal? You didn't come for lunch too?" Anjali asked

"I was in the orphanage di.. I wanted to meet the kids and they held me back." Payal said

"Oh.. Okay no worries. The designers are here, I'll just call Maa and then we can tell them our preferences and specifications to design our outfits." Anjali said

"I can't believe it Ratna. Finally my butterfly will be getting married. It feels like yesterday when I first held her in my arms." Garima said

Ratna smiled looking at her friend. Indeed it was difficult to accept that their children had grown up so much. They were getting married in a matter of a few days.

"Sach mein Garima... Aisa lagtaa hai ki abhi kuch der pehle toh... Dono ke ek aur jhagda suljha kar laute the hum.(That's true Garima.. It feels like we had sorted out one of their fights just hours ago)" Ratna chuckled

"And now.. The two are so very happy together, Getting married to each other. Head over heels in love with each other" Garima said

"Hmm. You know, The way Arnav has been with respect to relationships... I had never expected him to be in love with someone. Anyone. But seeing him so happy with our Titliya... I just can't thank her enough for bringing light in the dark life of my chote" Ratna said

Garima smiled.

"I wonder what would've happened if Arnav and Dia would've married" Ratna shuddered involuntarily at the mere thought

"We were this close to ruining all three lives" Garima said bringing her index finger dangerously close to her thumb but still not touching

Anjali entered the room and saw the two friends chatting endlessly

"Aisa kuch hua toh nahi na Maa.. Ab woh dono apni choti si duniya mein khush hain.. Aur hamesha rahenge. Kuch bura nahi hoga. Aap tense mat hoiye. (Nothing like that happened right mom.. Now they're both happy in their world.. And they'll always be. Nothing wrong will happen. Don't be tensed)" Anjali assured keeping her hand on Ratna's shoulder

"You're right my dear child. We shouldn't think bad. After all everything is going fine isn't it?" Ratna said with a smile

"That's like my mumma.. Anyway, The designers are here. If you're done with your gossiping. Come down in the hall" Anjali said

Truth be told I was trying to draft this one from last week. I don't know what I've written or if it's even making sense or not, But I really can't write until and unless there's a flow of words.
