1. Pick your story's plot (of you're having trouble, look at some popular books that interest you and copy some parts off of them) (also, figure out the end of the book before and fill in the slots in between the beginning and end)
2. Figure out a title (this may be harder for some of you)
3. Name the characters (this is my favorite)
4. Add in extra people for funny lines and serious drama
5. Pick your characters' personalities
6. Have people help you with the storyline
7. Figure out the couples (if there are any)
8. Name the pros and cons of every character
9. Figure out the characters' looks
10. Figure out juicy parts or serious things to add along to the storyline
Tip: Before you start writing, make sure every character has a name, personality, gender, and purpose in the story. A backstory is also recommended.
