"Aw, Scarlett cares," Chengcheng wiped a fake tear and the girl shot the middle finger at him making mama Zhengting yell. It led him to nearly start a lecture, but Scarlett's phone began to ring.

The girl quickly grabbed her phone of the table and accepted the FaceTime call, making the two boys shut up.

"Xiulan! Is it working? Can you see me," a male voice asked making Chengcheng and Zhengting raise an eyebrow.

Scarlett smiled seeing the boy which made the two wonder even further who was on the other line. "Yes, I can see you, you loser."

"Hey, that's Handsome Genius to you," the guy with soft perfect skin said in a joking matter, but Scarlett knew it was indeed true. He was very handsome and smart.

"Okay, Handsome Genius."

"Who's a handsome genius," Yanjun asked suddenly coming into the kitchen. Scarlett looked up from her phone to see him standing in the doorway, leaning against its frame.

Scarlett cleared her throat, not really knowing what to say. She wasn't necessarily in the mood to talk to Yanjun.

"Lani, who's that," the boy on the screen asked as she got up from her seat.

"No one," she replied walking past Yanjun, not looking at him, but instead looking at the phone in her hand.

When she left the kitchen became filled with awkwardness. The air seemed thick with tension, thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.

"Hey, guys," Justin smiled walking past Yanjun, going into the kitchen to see what Zhengting was making for dinner.

"Who's Crimson talking to on the phone," Yanjun asked making his way over. Chengcheng quietly went back to doing his homework while Zhengting silently did his cooking.

"Why," Justin asked turning to him. "You jealous?"

"No. I just want to know."

"Cause you're jealous," Justin smirked.

"You know what? I don't want to know anymore," Yanjun claimed, pivoting to leave the room, but before he could get out Justin said four words that spiked Yanjun's interest.

"It's her ex boyfriend." Yanjun immediately stopped in his tracks and turned to the rich kid. "If you want more information, it'll cost you."

"Dude, you're literally rich. What more could you-"

"Teach me how to flirt."

"I don't think Scarlett would like that," Zhengting stated.

"I wouldn't like that. I already cringe when you stand in the mirror and bite your lips," Chengcheng turned away from his homework.

"I will kick you out."

"Never mind."

"So," Justin sighed turning his attention back to Yanjun. "Do we have a deal?"

Yanjun bit the inside of his cheek. He didn't exactly think Scarlett would enjoy her brother being like them, but he also really wanted to know what kind of guys Scarlett has dated. Especially ones that she kept in touch with after their break up and seemed very close to.

"Fine."

"Great," Justin smiled before pulling out the phone in his pocket. Yanjun came beside him as he leaned against the island where Zhengting was cooking on the other side. "His name is Cha Eunwoo."

"How'd they meet?"

"They were in a band together, I think some guy asked her to be in it. They met through there," Justin informed looking through his pictures.

"I didn't know jiejie was in a band," Chengcheng said coming over to.

"You never asked, but yeah. She was the drummer cause my sister is cool like that," Justin smiled proudly. "Oh, here," he said clicking on one of his older pictures before handing it to Yanjun.

He took it in his hands and looked at the small screen. He saw four boys around Scarlett who sat in the middle of the group. Her hair was short and really curly and she had a bright smile on her face, one he only saw a couple times.

An arm was wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her close to a boy with black hair. He had a handsome face and a bright smile like hers.

"Woah~he's handsome," Chengcheng muttered causing Yanjun to send him a quick glare. Chengcheng threw his hands up in silent surrender before looking back at the picture. "Who are the other dudes?"

"That's Luke, next to Eunwoo, he's the bass player. The one on the other side of Scar is Rui, he's the second guitar player, Eunwoo is the first. And the guy on the end...I forgot his name, but he's the lead singer," Justin explained to them. Zhengting looked over the counter to see too and quickly moved away when he saw Scarlett. He was going to tell the others, but it was too late.

"How do you not know his name? He's the lead singer," Chengcheng narrowed his eyes.

"You don't need to know his name," Scarlett said moving her eyes away from the picture.

"Jiejie! We were just-"

"It's fine, J," Scarlett said grabbing her keys off the island where she forgot them. "If you wanted to know something, Yanjun," she said meeting his eyes. "You could've just asked."

With that, she turned away and went to her room. The kitchen was quiet once again.

"You still have to teach me how to flirt."
