What the boys didn't know was a stunned looking you stands on the other side of the bedroom door.

You had gone looking for Jack to question him about earlier thinking something was wrong with the blue-eyed boy which made you concerned. Then you noticed you also couldn't find Sam or Dean. Castiel was out so you knew he wasn't there. So after checking Jack and Sam's room you finally got to Dean's. You didn't mean to eavesdrop but you heard them saying your name which is what caught your attention. So you continued listening and you heard everything.

You know you were the youngest angel how could you not with the nickname baby angel given to you by the one and only Dean Winchester but still you are centuries old. You are a woman not a kid anymore. You can make your own decisions. You don't need protecting you anymore, you can protect yourself. Even though you know Cas loves you and he is showing that by trying to protect you, it's just sort of frustrating. You wish people mainly the angel and the Winchesters would stop viewing you as a child. So hearing that Castiel was banning Jack from dating you really just made your frustration skyrocket.

"Castiel, I need to talk to you." You say as you walk into the library in the bunker that night when everyone else is asleep

"Okay, Y/N, what is bothering you?" asks Castiel as he sets down his lore book looking up at you

"I want you to stop treating me like a baby." You answer trying to sound confident even though you weren't

"Cas, how do you think I feel when you go off on these dangerous hunts? You are my family too and I don't want anything to happen to you. I get it but I'm capable of taking care of myself now.
