"What were you staring at?" He asked with a knowing smirk. Embarrassed, I quickly step back from him and let my hands fall to my sides, clearing my throat I managed to let something out.

"I'm hungry."

I walked to the food table feeling his presence behind me. When I got to the table I took a glass of champagne and sipped it to my pleasure. It tingled and danced my tongue filling it with different mesmerizing flavors, I took another sip savoring the taste and found Asher staring at me.

"What?"

"Aren't you going to explain why you're here?" He asks. I clench my hands to fists and placed the wineglass on the table before turning back to him.

"Where did you go when we got back last night?" I asked him, he stared at me obviously confused and crossed his arms against his chest.

"I wasn't at the cabin because I had to go to the gang house for a meeting, so did most of us," he answers, I nod at him to keep talking. "The only people at the cabin were, Blake, Caleb and Zoe," he adds.

"Oh," I let out.

Only Zoe, Caleb and Blake were at the cabin. I know Zoe was the one who did this but I don't know if Blake and Caleb where in this too. Were they faking their concern from the start? Or did Zoe manage to change their minds about me.

"You didn't answer my question Bianca," he snaps. "Why are you here?"

I hesitated.

If he finds out his mates were involved in getting me back here it could create a huge problem in his friendship with Zoe, Blake and Caleb - that's if he cares enough to believe me. Though, he deserves to know, how can he live the rest of his live without knowing SOME of his best of friends betrayed him.

But what if it wasn't either Blake or Caleb that helped Zoe?

I might just be ruining a friendship because of my false accusations. If they end up finding out who it really was they would hate me and if they reconcile Blake and Caleb would question his trust for them.

"Bianca," I whip my head up at him, he looked back at me annoyed. "Again, seriously?" I rolled my eyes at his attitude and turned back to the table filled with different foods. My eyes found a tasty looking treat, I reached to get it but Asher slapped my hand away.

"Answer me," he seethed, his eyes angry. "Enough with the stalling Bianca."

"Why do you even care?" I ask him. "Why does it matter so much that I'm here?"

"Bianca..." He trails off seriously.

"I'm already here aren't I? You don't have to bother anymore, go home," I tell him.

"We just want to help you," he says. "I know what your father is like. All we want to do is free you from him."

Lie.

One of his weaknesses are lies. He's horrible at telling them. It's obvious him and his gang want something from me, and I'm determined to find out what. So I just play along.

I let out a defeated sigh and look down at my ripped dress. My legs felt cold from the exposure to the chilly atmosphere and some people started giving me weird glances. "I ran away," I lied. Asher's face held nothing but confusion as he stared at me for an explanation. "I ran away because I was ready to face my father and I didn't think I needed your help."

"What were you think-"

"I know, it was a stupid decision and I regret it," I say, helplessly waiting for this conversation to end. "Don't even try saying you will help me escape, it's nearly impossible to escape this place," I cut him off before he could speak. I almost felt bored at how easily the lies left my lips.
