At first, nothing happened, and you frowned. "Well, maybe I did not read it correct-" Before Fiona could finish tiny sparks of light shimmered off your hands, making them disappear in the process. "It's working!" you yelled with glee as Fiona nodded. You closed your eyes and before you knew it you were in Asgard.

"Oh Fiona, look! Is this what the day looks like?" You pointed at the sky but found no response out of your friend, only a caw. You looked at your shoulder which bore a beautiful black raven. "Oh-" you sighed. Luckily the disappointment did not stay long, you were completely engulfed in the beauty of Asgard. Now all you had to do was find the castle. You looked around, even you knew you couldn't be too far from it. You were about 34 giants feet (miles) away from the castle. You sighed and walked out into the streets of crowded people. They were all so beautiful and perfect, so rumors were true, it was the realm of a perfect race. You walked on, getting strange and terrified looks from the ongoing passers. 'They mustn't have seen an elf before' you thought to yourself as you were grabbed by the shoulder by two guards. "Why are you here?" The taller one spoke. "I'm looking for Loki, son of Odin and Frigga." You spoke confidently. The two guards laughed. "And who might you be? Little elf?" The short and chubby one spoke. "I'm Y/N, princess of Svartalfheim, daughter of Malekith." The two guards stopped laughing and chained you up. "What in the heavens do you think you're doing?" you yelled. "Taking you to Odin." The tall one said sternly.

(Time Skip brought to you by two stupid guards)

There you arrived, the castle. It was beautiful, other than you being chained up like a prisoner. The two guards threw you inside the castle. "I've been expecting you." a females soft voice spoke. With a blink of the eye, you were standing, or kneeling, in front of Queen Frigga. "Your Highness," you spoke rather quietly. "I've been watching you now for a few months, and I have to say, you might be the key to end the rivalry. I also know you have an interest in my son, Loki. I'm here to say, your marriage might end the war," Frigga spoke. I internally screamed, "But how Loki- Prince Loki has no idea I exist." You frowned. "Loki dear, you may come out, please," Frigga called. Out walked the most handsome man I had ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes upon. "Well, now I do." He grinned, pacing around you like a hungry animal. You blushed, "Prince, I've longed the day to finally meet you." You whispered. He smiled. "You are more beautiful than in the books Lady Y/N" He casually leaned up against a wall letting his hand run through his raven black hair. Speaking of a raven, where was Fiona? You looked around frantically and saw her perched on a nearby windowsill. You sighed. Fiona flew up and around the castle landing on your shoulder. Loki and Frigga looked at the bird with fascination. "And who might this be?" Frigga asked. "This is my bird, Fiona." You said as Fiona cawed. Loki looked at you with wide eyes. "Since when did elves carry birds." He walked closer to you smiling. "Till now, you see, I'm obviously different than my father." You spoke, raising your head into the air. "I fell in love with an Asgardian," you said in a quiet voice. Frigga smiled and snapped her fingers, making the chains disappear from your body, revealing the green and gold dress you chose for the occasion. "I'll leave you two alone to talk." Frigga waved her hand and walked out of the throne room.

"Lady Y/N. Hmph. An elf from the dark realms." Loki started. "Yes, prince," you replied. "Please, call me Loki." He smiled and walked towards you. You smiled widely as he spoke again. "You're in love with me?" He questioned stepping closer to you. "Yes." you sighed. You two were so close that you could feel his warm breath on your cheek. "I have the urge to kiss you. My i kiss you Lady Y/N?" He questioned. Your breath hitched and you nodded. He leaned in to kiss you and all of the sudden the planet stopped spinning, you felt as if you were floating in mid-air. Your body sent shivers down your spine as you felt that you were meant to be. "Lady Y/N" Loki looked distressed. "Yes?" you said still in shock of what had just happened. "You're burning me." He simply stated as you took your hands off of his cheek. You looked at your palm and saw a tiny flame die out. You panicked as you looked in the mirror at your eyes, you were crying pure gold.

"I-I have to go

"I-I have to go." You stuttered as Loki wiped the tears from your eyes. "But wait!" Loki called out as you were walking towards the doors. "Loki, even though I have strong feelings for you, doesn't mean I want to hurt you. Darling, I'm made of elements." You simply said before walking out of the castle crying what now was ice. Yes, you were made of elements. Rock, Water, fire, and Air. When you got excited you seemed to catch fire. When you were sad, you seemed to be cold.

Lokis POV

I never thought that I would feel this way towards another being. I'm a god, she's merely a princess. But somehow, when I kissed her, my world stopped. I felt all warm but then noticed her hand was burning my face. I think love, at first sight, must be real. I've always made fun of Thor for loving someone, but I think this is how love feels. I hate it.
