"Around eight or nine." She said. "I'll see you later."

I waved bye and closed the door. I tried calling Dave again and once again, a voicemail. I groaned loudly, "Morgan. Where's my dad?" Kairi asked.

I sighed. "He's out working right now." I told her, "Just watch your Sesame Street and if you need anything let me know."

"Can you make me some popcorn?"

"Okay." I made some popcorn and put it in a bowl then gave it to her.

I sat at the kitchen table for awhile thinking, Tito was identified as a suspect. He's practically caught already, and he's going to lead to Dave and everyone else. I laid my head down on the table, this is mad frustrating. I laid there for five minutes, almost dozing off, until Kairi tapped me.

I sat up, "Yes Kairi?"

"Can we have fun today?" She asked.

"You don't want to wait until your dad gets back?" She shook her head no, "What do you want to do? She thought for a moment, then shrugged. I stood up. "Okay how about I go get dressed and then we can find out what we want to do today."

"Okay!" She smiled.

I went into the room and in the closet trying to find something to wear, I just can't get Dave off my head.

Kairi and I walked into Dairy Queen, I sat her on the counter. "What do you want?"

She looked at the menu. "Vanilla."

I nodded, "Sprinkles?"

"Yeah."

I looked at the cashier, "Can I get two vanilla cones with sprinkles please?"

I paid for it and we got our cones, we sat inside and began eating. "So Kairi." I started. "How are you?"

She put up a thumbs up and continued eating her ice cream. "Where's my daddy?" She asked again.

I sighed. "I'm not sure, how about we call him?" I tried calling and once again, no answer. I shrugged, "I'm sure he's just busy."

After our ice cream I took her to the playground, and to the movies. We saw Inside Out and she loved it. Afterwards she fell asleep in my car, I decided to drop her off instead of waiting on Natalie just because I wasn't really ready to go home yet. I pulled up at Natalie's and got Kairi out the backseat. I knocked on the door and Natalie's mother answered.

"Hi." I smiled, "I'm just dropping off Kairi."

She looked around, "Where's Dave?"

"I'm not sure. Can I put her in her room?" She let me in and I went upstairs to Kairi's room. I laid her in her bad and tucked her in the covers.

So Kairi hasn't been with David none today?" The aunt asked as I walked out her room.

I shook my head no. "I think he's just working." I lied, "He asked me to keep an eye on her."

She looked at me in confusion. "Okay. Well thank you for dropping her off a hour early." She said sarcastically.

I mentally rolled my eyes and left out the house, I decided to call Asia. I was so confused and stressed over Dave's whereabouts I just needed someone to talk to.

Hey Morgan wassup? She answered.

Hey, whatcha doing?

Nothing sitting here with the guys playing Uno.

The guys?

Yeah, Christian, Quincy, and Jarron. Wanna come over?

I thought for a moment. I'm kinda going through alot right now.

Well let us clear your mind! Come on Morg! I'll text you the address.

She hung up and instantly texted me the address, I sighed and searched it in my maps. It was only ten minutes away, I guess I could get my mind taken off things....
