06. Peace and Hate

Start from the beginning

Dylan was waiting for the coffee to be done, when he took out his phone. It was his routine, while the coffee would be been made, Dylan would check out social media & Co.

When he unlocked his phone, his attention got caught to the Twitter icon that was on his screen. The number of notifications in red kept growing like crazy. The boy opened up twitter but just to be smashed with about a Million of new stuff, a lot of comments and just an awe full and supernatural amount of likes.

He scrolled down, trying to understand why everything exploded in one night. When he clicked on the search bar, his attention was caught by a hashtag.

#Dylmas

Dylan smiled, remembering himself of last night and the amazing time they had dancing and messing around. Dylan and Thomas hadn't let go of each other's side for the whole night until they eventually fell asleep next to each other.

"Dylan." Dylan looked up, to be faced with Kaya.

"Good Morning Sunshine." He smiled, taking another cup out of the shelf and taking the ready coffee, letting it find it's way into the cups.

Kaya sat down, taking one of the three cups Dylan had filled with water and drank a little bit of it. Dylan looked at her while she did so. If there was one thing Dylan loved more than Kaya, it was sleepy Kaya. She messy hair just always looked so cute and the sleepy eyes gave her the image of a little girl who needs protection.

"What's going on with Thomas outside?" she asked after some silence.

"Oh yeah... well I don't really know yet. His family and management have been trying to reach up to him for hours now, he's talking to them right now." Dylan said, taking the two other cups with coffee. "I'll take this to him. If Will wakes up, you know there the stuff is."

Dylan smiled before leaving the kitchen and walking outside with the two cups. Thomas was meanwhile sitting on a chair next to a wood table. Dylan took a seat in front of him, handing Thomas one of the two cups full with coffee.

"I don't get this how will they even know that it's true?" Dylan took a swallow of his coffee, looking st Thomas while he was talking on his phone. "Yeah okay maybe. I'll start craving after the press tour."

Thomas face showed annoyance. He was mad at whatever was happening right now and he'd rather just turn his mobile down. Dylan looked at him confused, he was unsure what he should do. Maybe it was even wrong of him to just sit there and listen to what Thomas was saying, maybe not. He wasn't sure.

"Yeah... sure I understand. We will fix this." Thomas said. "What do you mean?.... No, I'm not.... forget it.... they have no right so I'll just show up and try my best.... I don't care if that happens, the worst I can do is lie... yeah... sure.... see you later."

Thomas laid his phone down on the table, taking his cup of coffee into his hand and driving it to his mouth.

"Everything okay?" Dylan asked Right before Thomas could drink out of his cup.

The Brit laid the cup down again, looking at Dylan and shaking his head. "Has nobody been trying to reach you?"

"Not that I knew."

"Apparently I've been unemployed for way too long. My manager is scared that I fall into the dark again after the press tour." Thomas said, taking again his cup into his hand.

"Well if that's so we will explain to him that there's no way." The American swallowed his coffee, letting a big smile appear on his face.

"It's not that easy you know..."

"Why shouldn't it? Thomas you are an amazing actor full of talent. I worked with you, I know how you go and I also know that you are an amazing person. Someone that would let of you for a role would be really stupid trust me. I'm sure you'll have something amazing soon." Dylan smiled st his friend, trying to let a wave of reassuring travel trough Thomas.

"Thanks." Thomas took his cup into his hand, drinking out the coffee in it as if it would be water. He stood up afterwards, taking the cup with him and going into the kitchen. Dylan stood still, still drinking his coffee in peace, trying to understand what would be so complicated about getting a role for one of the most talented people he ever met.

Thomas put his cup into the sink, pressing a kiss into Kaya's hair, "Have a nice day sunshine."

"Are you going?" she asked, looking up at the blonde.

"Yeah I have to. We are leaving for London tomorrow and I wanna be sure I don't forget stuff you see." Thomas smiled lightly.

"Is everything okay?"
"Sure why shouldn't it?"
"I don't know... I have the feeling you're avoiding something."
"I'm great."

Thomas smiled one last time, before going into the living room again and taking his jacket. "You're leaving? Already?"

He turned around to see Dylan stand there with his empty cup.

"Yeh. I still have to pack for London and stuff. Home sweet home you see." Dylan nodded at Thomas reply. "Just make sure Will wakes up soon yeah?"

Dylan nodded again, what gave Thomas the right to leave Dylan's house. He truly wanted to do his baggage but he would have enough time even if he would have left at 8pm. Thomas actually really wanted to avoid something, well someone to be precise. What he did may wasn't right, but he needed some time to think. They were only having fun, trying to make people happy. But the fact that his management was against it hurt Thomas somehow. He was afraid of losing Dylan, losing what the two of them had. Sure, they were best of friends but Thomas wasn't used to these type of things. Like mentioned, he wanted peace.

Now the question was, how could he rewind time without hurting anyone. If he'd do what he had in mind thousands of people would hate him but if he would make what the others wanted him to, he'd be hated by himself.
