Before I could even reach her , she started to sniff the air furiously , her eyes turning a shade of gold and other shades too

She can sense her mate , well it is her 18th birthday and all werewolves find their mates at that time

I smiled waiting to see who comes to her , a few screams were heard when I felt the ground shake abit and a huge brown wolf came into view

He shifted into a human making my mouth gape as he held onto Hannah tightly , whispering 'mate' here and there

The rest of the gang walked in , smirking , hooting and shoving each other around as they eyed the new couple

My eyes fell on a pair of eyes that were settled on me "Hoseok" I muttered stupidly and he frowned at me

"That's Alpha Hoseok to you" he held my chin and locked eyes with me for a few seconds before scoffing and running his long tongue over his fresh white teeth

He walked past me and his scent hit me hard like a freight train , I turned in his direction and watched his back as he walked away , I think I was drooling at how muscular he was

"Okay class ! Our partners will be determined according to draws .. There's  a hat on the ground here with paper bits inside , pull out one and your number will be on it paired with another number and that will be your partner!!" The teacher explained to us and we understood

My number was 3 and I was paired with 19

Hoseok walked up to the teacher , I hope he's 19. Gosh I sound so desperate but his my mate after all and I will want him naturally

"16" he called out for his paired number and I whimpered , shut up y/n please

"Nice to meet you!" He beamed which was quite shocking , his outer appearance looks scary as hell

I nodded my head "Have you done archery before ??" He asked as we walked towards some bows and arrows facing a bulls target "No I haven't actually , I feel so embarrassed that I'm going to mess up" I rubbed at my cheek to try and hide the tint of red forming

"That's fine , the best archer makes us all look embarrassed" he turned his gaze to hoseok who wrapped his arms around the girl he was paired with and I felt a twinge in my heart

Does he not want us ?

"My mate.." I blurted out unknowingly and Jisung turned to face me quickly "Did you say Alpha is your mate ?" He now eyed my hair before looking back at hoseok before a smirk plastered his face

He turned back to me and grabbed a bow and arrow "Its easy to do archery , let me show you" he guided his arms around me so we were both in a stance , "keep your legs apart..." He used his leg to separate them

My heart raced at the contact , "allow the arrow to touch your face , it will hurt though but take a deep breath , close one eye and focus on the target ... Let go when your ready k?" He whispered into my ear and I hummed in response

I did as instructed and took a deep breath , closing one eye and within a second I let go and it hit the area just before the red and I squealed in excitement but it was short lived when I heard a loud growl

Before I could even register what happen , Jisung transformed into his wolf while another bigger wolf pinned him to the ground

My heart raced way too fast that my entire body felt weak at the sight , I looked around to see hoseok missing

Realisation hit me , the wolf that's attacking Jisung is .... Alpha hoseok
