Chapter 3: To Outerspace, alone time with Goku?

Start from the beginning

"I feel so much better," I whispered, leaning deeply into the bed sheets.

"YYYYYYYIIIIIINNNNNN!!!"

I sighed, turning my head to see Goku appear at the door.

"We haven't talked! Let's catch up."

"Ah, yeah, right. What do you wanna talk about?"

I sat up.

"Well, you seem to be pretty busy these days."

"Master Roshi asks me to go on errands for him."

"Really? I thought you'd go off to be an artist, like you said after the tournament."

I shrugged.

"Master Roshi likes to keep me busy."

Since I asked him to.

I rested my chin on the pillow and huffed.

"Your tattoo looks improved."

"Meh, I got skilled. That's what happened."

He sat right in front of me, leaning on his elbow, which rested on the pillow. I looked up at him.

"You and I should talk. We haven't talked since the wedding!"

"Yeah, because lovebirds should be lovebirds."

"Have you found someone?"

"No. I didn't care about that. I cared about honing my skills and being on top to best you the next time we fought."

I looked at him and smirked.

"Well, Chi-Chi doesn't let me train that much. Ever since we had a son, she doesn't let me do that."

"Yeah... Chi-Chi and I have been rocky lately."

"Hmm? Rocky? Can't be. Lover's Quarrel probably."

"She threatened to leave once."

"...Ah... She didn't, did she?"

"No."

"Good, good. She gives you good company."

He placed his head on the pillow face down and sighed. I gave a shy smile, rubbing his back.

"Just be good. That's all you can do."

I sat up.

"I'm hungry. Wanna eat? I know that'll cheer you up."

I got up. Goku grabbed my hand.

"Nah... Tell me a story."

I giggled.

"Ne! Yin! Tell us a story. We're bored," Goku shouted.

"What? Why should I? I'm busy."

"Yeah, with our food," Krillin snickered.

I punched his head, leaving a big red bruise on it.

"I'm not a housewife. I'm a martial artist!"

"How did you decide to get into that? What's that thing on your arm?"

"This?"

I looked down at the dragon tattoo on my right arm.

"This is a tattoo. It's something passed through my clan through generations. We use it to store our power, and it shows our true potential."

I grinned.

"I'll kick your ass with it if you'll let me."

"Nah, I'm good, rather see happy cooking Yin than scary fighting Yin," Krillin said.
