XU MINGXIA locked herself in her room once she got home. It was all she ever did these days. She no longer took part in the things she loved and she no longer talked to anyone.
The past four months she struggled with the rollercoaster of feelings.
Mingxia ran hands through her hair after throwing her school bag onto her bed. She knew her first year of college would be hard, but without Junjie it felt impossible. Life felt impossible.
When he was suddenly gone, she couldn't believe it. She didn't believe it.
She stayed up often wondering where he was and if he was okay. She prayed for a sign, but none ever came. She knew it was silly, it was impossible.
She had so many questions and was never going to get answers.
