虚 (n.) nothing

"Y/N-chan!"

Nothing.

"Y/N-chan!!"

Still nothing.

"Oi!!! Y/N-chan!!!"

"Can't you shut your mouth for a minute or two, Atsumu-senpai?!" The freshman girl finally turned from her position to face the grinning volleyball setter heading her way. You were sat on a concrete bench by school's courtyard, sketchbook and charcoal pencil in hand. Atsumu happened to be passing by on his way to his volleyball practice.

"Gomen, gomen. So, when are you coming back to see me practice again?" The twinkle in his eyes didn't waver one bit.

You gave him a frown. "That was only one time, senpai. And it was just for the art exhibit of Hyogo museum." A couple of months ago, Hyogo museum held a competition for art featuring any sports. Your school art club decided to enter and the president made each member draw lot which sports to cover. Yours ended up volleyball.

That was how you met him.

"But still," He was now standing in front you, slightly bent down, as he tried to take a peek at what you were sketching this time but you quickly clutched the book on your chest. "Hey, let me see!"

On the other hand, you had actually caught Miya Atsumu's eyes way before that. He'd seen you during the school's opening ceremony of his 2nd year and you're a freshman student and with just that, he'd been trying to stalk you and know everything about you. Heavens must've pitied him that one day, you appeared at the gym looking for a model. Ever since that day, he finally had the courage to not only talk to you but also pester you in many ways.

"Fine," you knew denying him will just end up in vain and his childish tantrums. You slowly showed him your unfinished sketch of the school's view from where you were seated.

"You're really good! No wonder you won that competition last fall." He said, flipping through the pages of your sketchbook.

At his words, you lightly kicked his shin. "I'm not good, senpai. I'm great."

He laughed at that and ruffled your hair. "Yeah, yeah. You are."

Your lips slowly curved into a small smile as you tilted your head up to look at him properly, hand swatting off his from your head.

Seriously, after months of knowing him, his personality was slowly rubbed off on you. Well, you were more of a quiet type and would rarely talk. Arrogance, however... It may be because he praises you a lot. Or maybe because you really are an arrogant person and it was just starting to show.

"Oh yeah," He perked up even more. "I have a game next weekend with 3 schools from Tokyo, want to come and watch?"

You took the sketchbook from him and stood up. "No, but thank you. I think you have more than enough cheerleaders."

"But I don't even like cheerleaders. And it's not like you'll be cheering me on." He whined, hands grasping your shoulders and shaking you lightly.

You laughed and tried to move away from. "Okay, okay. I'll come and watch."

"Promise?"

"Yes,"

"Pinky promise?"

"Yes."

He held out his pinky. "I'll break your pinky if you don't show up."

"Geez, Atsumu-senpai. You should stop with the violence."

He laughed at your comment.

And before both pinkies curl together, the girl in front of him vanished, leaving Atsumu staring at his pinky.

"Tsumu."

Nothing.

"Tsumu."

Still nothing.

"It's not your fault."

Osamu knew his words mean nothing to his twin brother. Atsumu listens to no one. But the more sensible twin was sure that even Y/N herself will not blame him for it. It was unexpected. And certainly no one wished for it to happen. But it did. Y/N died on a car accident as she was heading to see the match that weekend.

"It's not your fault." Osamu repeated.

Atsumu shook his head, eyes no longer twinkling, eyes dried of tears. "She said she's great. She's great, isn't she?"

"She was." Osamu replied and he almost regretted answering him with those two words. Almost.

Atsumu almost turned to beat the sht out of twin for saying that. Almost.

But he didn't. He knew Y/N wouldn't like that.

"She is. And she always will be."

So umm

So umm... haha I apologize for not updating even though I said I will be at least once a week. First trimester is a biatch and my majors are... not doing well for start. Ugh, add in electives.

How's school going on for you guys? I take it most people are probably busy as it is exam season in a normal 2 semesters school year. Anyways, sorry for the crappy one shot.
