It felt like eternity waiting for it to finish.
I thought it never would.
Turns out it did,
it just too long to wrap it all up,
so by the time they finished,
I was only half there.
It didn't take eternity to fix the arguments,
but it'll take eternity to fix me.
But, they don't even know
I have to be fixed.
I seem the same,
I seem fine,
I seem happy,
I seem whole.
But, it is easy to fool
those who never really knew you
because they can only guess what you where like before.
It'll take eternity to fix me
and it'll take eternity for them to know there's something to fix.
But, I can wait
for all of eternity
because I'm not really there.
I'm far away,
somewhere that eternity is preserved.
What I seem is not what I am.
I am different,
I am lonely,
I am invisible,
I am broken,
I am eternity.
