"Zane, I don't know what's making you upset, but I wanna help?" Raelyn asked, grabbing Zane by the shoulders. He looked up at her, smiling weakly before collapsing into her arm, crying and laughing.
"When did life get so weird?!" He sobbed, Raelyn chuckled slightly.
"Probably around the time Kala told us about dragons." She grabbed Zane tightly, pulling him closer. "If that's not weird I don't know what it."
Zane laughed, a short, hollow laugh, tears still pouring down his face. Raelyn clutched the back of his hoodie, almost like if she let go he'd dissapear again.
"Zane, please tell me... whats wrong?" She asked, pulling away from him suddenly. He looked at her from a moment, before looking away.
"You dont need to worry. It's... nothing, really."
