20. Panic Attack

" she said that you .. you killed sohyun " his eyes widened and he seemed like he lost his words 

" but i never believed her ! i never did !! and she also told me that my sister was your lost cousin but i knew that she  was making it all up " 

Donghae just stared at me his mouth getting dry " why you didn't tell me about it ? i had no idea what that manic told and most definitely i didn't expect something like that !! i swear to you y/n i have no idea on what's going on "

he panicked and did know how to assure me that he was innocent but i was sure of that along time ago he doesn't have to prove me anything. i put my finger on his lips and 

" shhh , i already know Donghae you don't have to say anything " and i couldn't resist his  eyes that started to water and his trembling lips , i loved that duality in him , the cruel evil cold LEE DONGHAE  that everyone feared  and most likely hated , the one that know very well what he is doing and what he wants , the one that runs one of the biggest companies in the country ,and the other donghae , my donghae the soft cute almost crybaby , that pays attention at every detail of anything that concerns me , the one that will defy the world just to be with me and the crazy little child that have every night  just for myself .

" hello my dear i was expecting you , sooner to be honest" and Mrs lee smiled at both of us and we enterd her living room and sat on the beautiful sofa beside each other , 

" yes " is all he said and held my hand firmly that i turned my head toward him finding him fixing a glare at his grandmother , for god sake donghae she is still your grandmother you can't look at her like that  , and his granny at the other hand shifted her eyes on our interwinde hand and sighted 

" i know you want to know " she was going to add something , but Mr rude beside me didnt let her finish 

" yes Ma'am we came to hear the truth , and please tell us everything , did you mean what you said ? " 

she lifted the cup of tea that was already there on the table and guided it to her lips to take a sip then she started speaking , this woman was cold and mean yet somehow mesmerizing , no wonder Donghae is like her   , i bet he got it from her   

" let me start from the beginning ,so y/n will understand better " and we both nodded

" well i had three sons and all of then were married and one of them had  a daughter names dahee, unfortunately he got into a car accident with his wife and little daughter " she sighed and looked at the cup in her hand , she must be still in pain, losing a child is not an easy thing 

" no one survived the accident and no body where found , they just assumed everyone died , the car was so damaged and fell from high cliff to a strong flowing river "  she sighted for the second time and i could feel her pain 

" later Mina found out that your late sister was indeed dahee, my lost grandchild , at that time i didn't had an eye on Mina she was .... how can i say it , she was ' still sane at that time' and i had no idea what was happening with her and donghae "

then donghae interrupted her again !!

" please don't put me and that crazy girl in the same sentence " and she shoot him well deserved glare , and i squeezed his hand , baby i love and all but you should stop interrupting people 

"so Mina did all that mess , and i had to step in to protect both of them " she shifted her eyes on me " y/n i know you understand , she is my child i cant let her get in trouble "

"so you just protected her even if you knew she  killed her !! even when you clearly knew that sohyun was my girlfriend and i loved her very much , how could you do that grandma !" 

his voice went higher and he snapped at her , i don't blame him i barely could control myself 

" you saw me suffer , you saw how dad i was , how everyday a piece of me died until i was no longer a normal person , you knew all of that yet you chose to protect that crazy bitch , how could you !!" his eyes filled with tears 

Mrs Lee just stared  at him but didn't say a word  but then

" Donghae i would never be able to explain , and u would never understand it , it was better that way ...... anyways let me get to the point would you !" 

" after that i discovered what Mina has found out about the whole story , yet still something bothered me , i was never able to confirm the truth and there was never a way to be sure , the body was buried " Mrs Lee explain and i was still in awe , i  was in state of denial and disbelief , she is talking about my sister ,my sohyun , the only one i had and loved  

Mrs lee stopped and her eyes were on the floor as if she was remembering something , she was somewhere else , somewhere far , she lifted her head and took a deep breath 

" it stayed that way until the day i came to visit you at the office and i saw your new assistant , i told you i have seen her before " her eyes watering " y/n you look so much like your mother , you have her eyes and smile , the moment i saw you i knew it , deep down in me i knew it "  

i think i am gonna faint , for real though i am feeling dizzy , her word echoing in my head ' you have her eyes and smile'  i need air , i cant breath , is she serious now !!

as i was battling to get some O2 in my lungs which seems nowhere to be found , i tightened my grip on Donghae's hand  

"y/n are you okay , Y/N WHAT'S WRONG !! " Donghae panicked when he saw me like that , i think it was a panic attack , i am not sure i have never had one before , and after that the only thing i could see was black
